Dear Frank:
I am terribly sorry to tell you that I have lost the valuable book you were so kind to lend me last week. I read it everyday and intended to finish it next month. Last night when I came to my room, it was nowhere to be found. I will try to recover it as soon as possible. If I fail to find it, I will get a new book for you.
But I am afraid it can never take the place of the old one. Old books are like old friends. Once lost, they can never be replaced. They are connected with cherished associations which the new ones can never have. And for this irrecoverable loss, I am to blame. I was so careless with my things. This is a warning to me to be more careful in the future.

我坐在了自己的'位子上，和同学们谈笑风生，郑?辰坐在我旁边，和我们说说笑笑，他没坐在自己的座位上，坐在了余子尖的位子上。过了许久，余子尖来了，他愁眉苦脸地让郑路成离开他的位子，当他的火已经发到了极点后，他忍无可忍地把汤坚决地洒在了郑路成的脸上，郑?辰的头发像洗了头似的，全湿了。
郑?辰也去泼余子尖，我在一旁站了起来，去掐余子尖的脖子，余子尖也大呼小叫的叫着，其他同学没有像我一样和余子尖吵的，只有我、郑?辰和余子尖在一起互相大骂。我还去推余子尖，但余子尖始终没有还手。
余子尖，我真想对你说：“对不起。”但每当见到你，我就不敢对你说，心似乎受了控制一样，但是我在今日终于鼓起勇气向你说了一声：“对不起。”虽然雨依然下着，但是我和你的友谊地久天长。

Now the first thing I have to hasten to do is to write to you these few lines to express my deep regret.

这位姐姐瘦小的身材，有一双水汪汪的大眼睛，活灵活现，总给人美的感受，高高的鼻梁下有一个能说会道的嘴，看到人时她总以微笑相迎，常常戴的一副眼睛显得好有文化感。。
记忆深刻的也属这件事情——
她可是一个时髦的女人呀，记得有几次和她一起去小商品，我陪她去饰品，在一个商店面前，面对的琳琅满目的装饰品，我不得不惊讶，但是一旁的她却很从容的走了进去，随手拿起一个红颜色的手提包，在镜子前面可要照上一会儿，时不时的让我给他拿主意，在一家商店至少要呆上个一二十分钟，我也便趁机偷闲，好容易买好了包，又说“这个包配什么衣服好呢？”随后我们又到了服装专区，到了衣架前挑衣服，还让我觉得配的`衣服都拿出来，两三分钟后椅子上摆满了服饰，她便一一试了起来，那个试衣间这一下午就成了她的独家衣间，十几次的进进出出，每次却总有一句话：“好看不”听到回答后又随手拿起另一件试了起来，这让我对她很无奈，好不容易挑好了衣服，又拉着我到了头饰的柜台前，精心的挑了起来，似乎忘记了有我的存在，我只有帮他拿东西的份，每一个头饰都要显摆半天才买，这下一转眼一下午的时间就过了大半，从透视专柜前走出来，我心里捞一阵轻松，心里想：这下好了衣服，头饰，皮包都有了都齐了，就可以回家了，但是她的一句话让我的想法随着风飘了——“对了，鞋，鞋，还没有买，走走走……”这不又把我揪到了鞋柜前，跳好了鞋，又去弄什么指甲盖，这功夫下来，整了一个全齐，为的只是让自己身上的全套衣服和前面买的皮包相配，满足自己的虚荣心而已了。
时髦的姐姐，让我觉得好不成熟，但是她做起认真的事来还真的是一丝不苟，干起工作的认真劲真的是让我好佩服，她对我也很好，虽然我们在一起的时间并不长，但是她每次都给我带好多好吃的，好玩的，真想现在就叫她一声：“嫂子”，我也希望在今后的日子中她能和哥哥共同度过每一个坎坷，每一个心酸，每一个不可知的未来。也希望她们懂得，生活不可能事事如意，事事顺心，每一个困难中都有丝丝爱。
这就是我的时髦的未来嫂子！
