我也记不得从什么时候开始，好像是在我五岁的一天晚上，爸爸不知道为什么，突然心血来潮，让我给他拔白头发，把一根挣一角钱。于是我为了明天的棒棒糖，开始了努力的工作。
“一根，两根，三根。”我觉得自己离目标越来越近了。“咦？”我找了半天也没找到第四根，就在我快要放弃的时候，终于，在众多的'黑发包围中，有一根还在摇篮里的白发，我连忙把它拽出来。就这样，经过我半个小时的努力，终于攒齐了五根。累得我脖子麻木的就快没有知觉了。心里想；挣点钱真不容易呀。第二天，我吃着棒棒糖，感觉好像甜到了心里，可后来，这甜蜜渐渐变成了酸和苦涩。
今天中午，我正在玩着电脑，老爸突然又叫我去给他拔白头发。我这才想起已经有很长时间没有给爸爸拔白头发了。于是我便召集妈妈，一起来给爸爸拔白发。走到爸爸旁边时，我疑惑了。怎么原来找半天都找不到的白发，却像雨后春笋一样钻了出来。我也没多想，就连忙工作起来。原来少得可怜的白头发，竟在时间的魔法下，变得多如牛毛。我和妈妈只把两鬓的白发拔完，就已经有三十多根！就在我把白发扔进垃圾桶的时候，我顿住了。我看了看那些白发，又想了想爸爸，一股热泪涌了出来。我才12岁，爸爸已经有了这么多的白发，那等我长大成人，成家立业时又会是怎样呢？恐怕就应了那句老话了；树欲静而风不止子欲养而亲不待啊！是呀，我们常说，将来要报答父母，将来？将来是什么时候？我们能等到将来，父母能吗？
我们常常希望时间过得快一些，因为赶快放了学就能看电视，就能玩电脑，赶快放了寒暑假就能尽情玩。时间过得快一些对我们来说是享受对父母来说呢？时间过得快一些，父母头上的白发就多一些；时间过得快一些，父母的脚步就慢一些；时间过得快一些，父母剩下的的时间就少一些啊！
今天晚上，等爸爸回来，我一定要和他说一声：“爸爸，你辛苦了！”

有一次，爸爸逛了一下午的书诚，才满意地挑了几本书，一路上，哼着小调回来，推开门，找个地方坐下，哼着自编小调看起了书，他翻时小心翼翼的，生怕把书弄破，弄起一个角，这时，有一个人叫爸爸去，爸爸没办法，只能放下书本，依依不舍地走了，我暗自庆幸，终于可以看老爸的宝贝书了，要在平时，老爸连让我碰一下也不行，更别说让我看了。有时候也会让我看，不过得把我的看一遍，如果脏，得洗好几遍，而且要小心翼翼地翻，今天老爸出去了，我可以自由自在地看老爸的书了，我迫不及待地看了起来。“刺—拉。”“啊。”随着一声惊叫声，书的一页，被弄破了，爸爸回来提高声音问：“谁***？”“我不……小心弄……弄破的。”我胆怯地说。“书是我们的朋友，不能去损坏它，要爱护它，知道吗？”爸爸心平静和地说，我点了点头。真要谢谢我的好爸爸。从此，我再也不损坏书了。

我的爸爸才三十几岁，看上去足足有四十多岁，脸很黑，额头上有很多深深的皱纹，个子不高，但走起路来很有精神，他的饭量也特别大。
对了，我的爸爸是干建筑活的。有时他很自豪地说，上海有许多好的建筑是他***，有时间到上海来看看。我做梦都想去。
从我记事起，我和爸爸就是聚少离多。有时几年都不回来。过年时，我们从腊月二十四盼到大年三十，又从大年初一盼到正月十五。我和妈妈眼都望瞎了，心都碎了，还是盼不到爸爸回来的身影。就是打个电话也打不了几分钟，说是为了省钱，我知道长途话费很贵，但一分钟才三毛钱能省多少？我很生气和不解。
爸爸***是体力活，据说他一顿能吃六七个馒头，配点大葱，有时沾点方便面材料，喝点水就行了。也许***活太重了，今年爸爸回来我发现爸爸苍老了很多，皱纹似乎更深了，背也驼了很多，走起路来也没有以前那么有力气了。记得的爸爸背着一个破包才到家门口，妈妈抱着爸爸的头大哭起来，我也大哭起来，全家哭成一团。事后，听妈妈说，他不想干建筑活了，只是他不会技术，不干不行，眼看到别人家都盖楼房了，我也上五年级了。
我和妈妈从不埋怨爸爸挣的钱少，越是这样，他越是愧疚。他常说某某会看图纸，一天不怎么干活也能挣很多钱。要是自己能看懂多好。可自己毕竟连初中都没上完。干了好多年仍然是小工，干其他活没门路。
令爸爸欣慰的是我的床头上贴满的各种奖状，有三好学生的，由名次奖等。放学后，我都会帮妈妈干活，我学会了锄草，播种玉米，也知道许多玉米品牌，有：“中科”，“鲁单”等。尤其是雨后给玉米追化肥真是太累人了。在烈日下的挥汗如雨的豪爽，在雨中体会的'天然淋浴的无奈。挣一毛钱都是那样的艰辛和不易，从我记事起，我很少吃零食。每当我闻到辣条的辣味和瓜子的浓香，我都控制不了我自己，我就咬咬牙，迅速跑开。就想，将来我自己能挣钱，买几十斤非吃个够不可。
在家里，在老师和妈妈的教育下，我感到自己渐渐的成了大人。

我的爸爸是一个非常爱我的人，他是一位在沱牌镇酒厂的工人，长得不高不矮，但瘦瘦的，就像每天没吃饭似的，但我觉得他非常辛苦。因为爸爸还是一个开车的司机，有时候晚上十二点还要出去，我和妈妈非常担心，有时候还一连几天都还不回来。爸爸还没过40，头发都有些都白了……
