寓意：中年以前不要怕，中年以后不要悔。

小蜗牛被放入了玻璃瓶里，瓶里还插着一根树枝，能够让它们当树一样爬，活动活动。我捧着玻璃瓶，认真地察看着蜗牛：它有两对触角，一长一短，眼睛长在长的触角上，似乎是潜水艇的潜望镜。它的腹足好有粘力，粘在玻璃上，就算倒过来，也不会掉，你用手去弹玻璃，它还是稳稳地粘在玻璃上。蜗牛还背着一个能够移动的“小房子”，爬到哪儿，哪儿就是它的家。睡觉了，缩进去；被人欺负了，缩进去，真好。
蜗牛还是一个名不虚传的“大胃王”，早上我放进去的叶子，等到我放学回家一看，只剩下孤零零的叶茎，还不幸巴巴地望着我，似乎在说：小主人，没饭吃了！我赶紧给它换上新颖的叶子，看着它心称心足地吃着，就像我心称心足地啃大鸡腿一样美味。
每次清洗好瓶子，小蜗牛就会从玻璃瓶底部或者树枝根开端奋力地向上爬，有一只最小的蜗牛会不时爬到玻璃瓶口“安家”。希望有一天，我能够变成周杰伦歌曲《蜗牛》里的那只蜗牛，“我要一步一步往上爬，在最高点乘着叶片往前飞。”我要改掉蜗牛“慢悠悠”的特质，成为不怕苦，不怕累，英勇往上爬的那只“小蜗牛。”

蜗牛是一种胆小的动物。它一般都把身体缩在壳内，只有当它确定外界没有危险时，才会把头伸出壳，张望这美好的世界。这时，你就会看见蜗牛头顶有两对触角。上面那对约有六七毫米，底下那对约有一两毫米。这两对触角都像电视天线那样可以伸缩自如。你一定奇怪，蜗牛的眼睛和鼻子在哪儿呢？据动物学家研究表明，蜗牛的眼睛在上面那对触角的顶端，而下面那对触角则是它的鼻子啦！如果蚂蚁老弟碰见蜗牛，一定会说：“这老兄眼睛和鼻子长在触角上，也太奇妙了吧！”
蜗牛所过之处都会留下一道白色的印迹，这是为什么呢？哦，原来蜗牛外出时没有指南针、地图或是导航仪，所以外出觅食归来时只能沿着白色印迹原路返回大本营。这也够奇妙吧？
