有一天，铅笔写错字了，他在作业本上涂涂改改，老师见了生气地说：“你怎么写得这么脏，赶快把写错的字擦掉重写。“铅笔后悔了，早知道就不应该和橡皮吵架，如果我让橡皮帮忙就不用重做了。他连忙向橡皮道歉：“橡皮橡皮快帮帮我吧，以前我对你不好，你能原谅我吗？”橡皮可宽容了，他连忙说：“好！”就把铅笔写错的字擦得干干净净。
从此，铅笔再也不骄傲了，和橡皮成了一对形影不离的好兄弟。
