我家住在东湖公园附近。每逢周末，妈妈经常带我去散步。一进大门，我看见一个漂亮的大花坛，花坛的周围摆满了一盆盆金黄色的菊花和红色的鸡冠花。花坛后面有十几块奇形怪状的岩石，许多游人都喜欢在这里照相留影。岩石的后边是一个大湖，湖里有一群鳞光闪闪的金鱼，五颜六色的。
许多小朋友向湖里撒鱼食，金鱼们都吩吩游到水面上争先恐后地抢着吃，当小朋友们撒完后，金鱼们把鱼食吃光就游走了，湖面又恢复了平静。湖边的小路上两岸都种满了碧绿的柳树，它们都齐齐向湖面弯着腰，低着头，好像是二排怕羞的大姑娘站在路旁迎接游客。湖面上，几只游船在清澈的湖面上慢慢行驶。游船的船头都有一支水枪用来射水中的机器，射中了就会喷出长长的清水。
来到湖心广场，有一座美丽的音乐喷泉。每逢夏天，当喷泉开放时，有许多小朋友光着身子在里面嘻戏。好几位老爷爷在这里打太极，老奶奶们在跳扇子舞，阿姨们在跳健身操。公园里真热闹，每个人脸上都挂满了灿烂的笑容。
往前走过了石桥，会见到两岸湖边有许多爷爷、叔叔们在钓鱼，为了能让鱼上钩，他们能在这静静地坐上几小时。再往前走便到了公园的末端，小时候，这里原有许许多多美丽的白鸽，可现却找不到它们的踪影，我多么希望美丽的白鸽能再回到公园里，给我们带来更多的欢乐！
