早晨起床后，三个小伙伴一起结伴出游，它们走了一会，突然，小蚂蚁看到不远处有一个破成两半的鸡蛋壳，小蚂蚁说：真无聊，要不我们做个跷跷板玩吧？小虫子和花蝴蝶连声说：好呀！好呀！，它们齐心协力把鸡蛋壳翻过来，然后找了一枝小竹竿，把竹竿平衡地放在鸡蛋壳上，一个简易的跷跷板做好了。小虫子和小蚂蚁爬上跷跷板，高兴地玩了起来。
它们玩着玩着，小虫子看着在飞舞的蝴蝶，问：天空中的风景美吗？花蝴蝶拍拍翅膀，说：非常美丽呀！小蚂蚁说：可我们不会飞，怎样才能到天上看美丽的风景呢？小虫子看看这，看看那，发现不远处的草地上有一个气球，它想了想，说：我有办法了，我们可以试试做一个热气球，这样我们就可以借着风飞上天了。它们找来几根绳子，牢牢地把气球和鸡蛋壳绑起来，热气球就这样做好了。小虫子和小蚂蚁爬进鸡蛋壳里，一阵大风吹来，热气球乘风而上，花蝴蝶带着他们飞起来，他们看见了湛蓝湛蓝的天空，洁白洁白的云朵他们激动地欢呼着：高空中的风景真美丽呀！

它们又跑到花猫家门口，说：花猫妹妹，让我们进你家避避雨，行吗？”
