??望月怀远》改写开元二十四年，荆州。
黄昏，太阳一发不可收拾地落下，乐器的呜声，天通红一片，但是还有一点朦胧。
一位长史在办公室来回踱步，脸上写满了愁怨，嘴耷拉下来。他可不是一般人，他就是唐朝最后一位贤相——张九龄。
眼看要中秋了，大街小巷一片张灯结彩，一派欢快，可是只有他一片忧愁。工资不高，勉强糊口，偶尔给家里寄点钱。可是……妻子孩子几年没有相见，也不知道他们生活的好不好，尽管家里人一直在来信里说没事没事，但他仍旧放心不下。
中秋节，夜晚。
张九龄借酒浇愁，与朋友们喝得酩酊大醉，“九龄兄，中秋快乐，希望你不要‘月下独酌’，莫伤心啊。”张九龄连忙草草回应。他一个人走上了楼顶，想看看月，他在楼梯上沉思：为国提议，有错吗？提醒唐皇治理政事，有错吗？提醒皇帝远离佞臣，有错吗？我为国纳谏，无一点错，为何落入如此凄惨的下场？
到了天台，看到一轮明月爬上天空，他才发现，原来借酒浇愁没有一丁点的`用处，原来那些脑里的记忆一直都甩不掉：婚前被通知的喜悦、掀开新娘遮着头布的惊讶、他们度过的第一夜、平日她在洗衣的辛苦、儿童的嬉闹。张九龄对这一切久久不能忘怀。她一定很辛苦吧，家里的事全靠她一个人张罗，她也不能耕地，是不是只能靠我寄的那些钱过日子。他用手捧满月光，许了一个愿。
但是，我们起码看的是同一轮月亮……
半夜，邻居听见一阵阵狂笑。
第二天，邻居推开他家的门，他已归去，只留下一张带有杂乱字迹的纸：
海上生明月，天涯共此时。
情人怨遥夜，竟夕起相思。
灭烛怜光满，披衣觉露滋。
不堪盈手赠，还寝梦佳期。
天还是那么朦胧，就像几天前。
