今天妈妈下班回家，为我带回了一套书，我一看，名子叫《老鼠记者》，因为我平时喜欢看科普系列的书，所以，这次妈妈为我选订了这套风格完全不同的书。妈妈给我买的是这套的书的第一辑，我感觉这套书非常幽默和动感，在这套书中，我感觉书中的画面非常的精美、语言非常的幽默、情节非常的搞笑，将我带入到一个神奇的老鼠世界里，看一群可爱的小老鼠是如何畅游世界的。
在书中，搞笑的笨老鼠记者抱着一张张文件进入办公室，它没有想到办公室还开着电风扇，而且电风扇的风速很快，所以，老鼠记者一进入办公室，它手中的文件被吹得满屋都是，那个场面，真是可笑极了，说明它做事情以前，没有考虑到一些自己完全可以避免的原因。这第一辑共五本，讲的基本都是老鼠记者旅行的事情，在这五本书中，给我印象最深刻的部分是：一次老鼠记者把一艘海盗猫船误以为是“银岛”，结果一上船就被黑面神（牢房看守）抓到了牢里，老鼠记者的侄子本.杰明就拿出老鼠记者送给它的生日礼物——一把尖利的小刀，把老鼠记者一行人的绳子割断，救出了大家。我当时随着书中的情节，心情也一起一落的，真怕小老鼠们不能得救，会被猫给吃掉，因为书中的小老鼠们，真的很可爱，和我们平时眼中过街喊打的灰溜溜、脏兮兮的老鼠，是完全不一样的。
在这套书中，一共有四个人物，我最喜欢老鼠记者那调皮可爱的小侄子——本.杰明，它在古堡里发现了老鼠都跟蝙蝠长的很相似；它在海盗船上救了人命；它在十一个字母中帮助发现了一些字母组合，解出了密码等等一系列聪明、可爱的举动，所以，我超喜欢它。
在这四个人物里，老鼠记者就是作者本人，我非常佩服作者有这么不可思议的想像力，可以把自己想像成一只老鼠，而且，这套书都是以一只老鼠的视角来写的，当我读着读着，我就觉得一只只鲜活、可爱的小老鼠们就在我的身旁。我非常喜欢这套书，谢谢妈妈为我选购了这么幽默好看的书。

Please accept my resignation as associate chemist at the GERT Institute. I plan to leave my job here on September 30, 19–, taking a few days of annual leave just prior to that effective date. As you know, my primary interest has been in the oil and gas industry. Therefore, I’ve accepted a position with Fury Refining, Inc., that should put me back in touch with my “first love.” Although I’m eager to accept the challenges in this new position, I regret leaving the institute. You and the organization as a whole have treated me very well over the past three years. I won’t forget the friendship and professional growth I’ve experienced as an employee here.
