一个万里晴空的日子，小蜗牛告别大草原，开始了它的.环游之旅。
小蜗牛爬呀，爬呀，忽然，一只小鸟飞过来说：“你要到哪里去呀？”小蜗牛兴奋地说：“我要环游全世界！”小鸟嘲笑它说：“什么？就你？还背着个笨重的壳！我看你还是把它摘了吧，这样爬起来会轻松点。”小蜗牛说：“不，我不能把它摘掉，因为它是我的家，它可以为我遮风挡雨。”“那就随你吧！”小鸟说着便飞走了。
小蜗牛爬呀，爬呀，又遇到了小兔子。小兔子问：“你要去哪里呀？”小蜗牛笑着说：“我要环游全世界！”小兔子说：“你要环游全世界？我看你在世界地图上环游一遍，也要花上半年呢！”小蜗牛说：“不会的，只要坚持再坚持，就会达到我心中的目标。”
