记叙文中第一段的作用：
若是环境描写，其作用有：

一.记叙文的常用叙述顺序有顺叙、倒叙、插叙和补叙。
（1）顺叙。按照事情发生、发展和结局的时间顺序来写，这种写法通常叫做顺序。顺序的段落层次跟事情发展的过程基本一致。顺叙的使用最为广泛。例如《散步》、《金黄的大斗笠》、《我儿子一家》。
（2）倒叙。倒叙就是将事情的结局或某个最重要或最突出的片断提到前面叙述，然后依“自然时序”进行叙述。倒叙并不是由“尾”至“头”的整个的逆叙，而是局部的“倒插”。一般说来，情节曲折、复杂的事情才须倒叙，如果中心明确，材料简单，事情发生的时间较短，就不必用倒叙。例如《背影》、《父子情》就运用了倒叙。
（3）插叙。插叙就是在叙述中心事件过程中，插入一些与主要情节有关的内容，然后再接叙原来的事情。插入的内容为了对主要情节起补充、衬托的作用，使中心思想更加鲜明，如《羚羊木雕》。
（4）补叙。文章有时根据内容的'需要，要对前面所写的人或事作一些简短的补充交待，这种写法通常叫补叙。补叙和插叙虽然都是对主要情节的补充和交待，但它们也有不同。补叙大都无情节，前后不必有什么过渡的话。
顺叙、倒叙、插叙、补叙不是死板的方法，可以根据表达中心的需要灵活运用
二.说明文
1、说明文是客观的说明事物的一种文体，目的在于给人以知识：或说明事物的状态、性质、功能，叫做事物说明文；或阐明事理，叫做事理说明文。
2、说明要有顺序，这是使说明内容条理化的必要条件。常见的说明顺序有：时间顺序、空间顺序、逻辑顺序。
说明的时间顺序和记叙的时间顺序相似。
空间顺序要特别注意弄清空间的位置，注意事物的表里、大小、上下、前后、左右、东西南北等的位置和方向。
逻辑顺序常以推理过程来表现，一般包括从原因到结果、从主要到次要、从整体到局部、从总说到分说再到总说、从现象到本质、从特点到用途等几种类型。
3、说明文的语言的准确性是说明文语言的先决条件。表示时间、空间、数量、范围、程度、特征、性质、程序等，都要求准确无误。在准确的前提下，说明文的语言有的以平实见长，有的以生动活泼见长。
4、说明方法
为了把事物特征说清楚，或者把事理阐述明白，必须有相应的说明方法。常见的说明方法有举例子、分类别、列数据、作比较、画图表、下定义、作诠释、打比方、摹状貌等。写说明文要根据说明对象和写作目的，选用最佳方法。
