st summer holiday, I took a trip to Yunnan. It is in the southern part of our country .It is really a very beautiful place grand mountains, clean rivers and kind people. Trees and flowers are seen everywhere. Every year there are lots and lots of visitors.Maybe you have heard about Shi Lin (stone forests. There are all kinds of strange stones. Some of the small stones look like graceful girls; and the big stones look like handsome men. Other stones look like cats, peafowls, double-edged swords, mice,
elephants and so on. Of all the stones, the stone like a beautiful girl in a legend is the most famous .Its name is A Shima.
I also went to Li Jiang. The roads in that city are just like the Eight Diagrams. Any road in the city goes to the center of Li Jiang. A river runs through the whole city. If you go along the river, you\'ll never get lost. There are many ethnic minority people in Yunnan. They are very cordial. And they all like singing and dancing. We danced with them around the campfire that night. I really had a good time.
I like the elephants and fruits there best. An elephant is even taller than me! I even mounted the elephant, though I was very afraid at first. But the elephant seemed very friendly. I took some photos with it. The fruits there are very fresh and delicious. They are very good for our health.
The trip to Yunnan impressed me GREatly. I will never forget it.

从古至今，一般端午节人们多要包粽子，并摘许多的葛藤挂在门口的两旁。今天，奶奶买了许多粽子回来，说今天的午餐就吃粽子了!吃午餐是，每人拿到了一条粽子，这粽子是三角体的，外面是用几片苇叶包成的，外形十分精致，还用几条绳子绑了起来，为了不让苇叶掉下来。闻着看喷喷糯米味，让人垂涎三尺。我迫不及待地打开粽子，赶紧用筷子夹了一块，啊，味道还真不赖!
但是，在吃粽子的同时，也不能忘记在公元278年前的爱国的伟大诗人——屈原。楚国在秦国在举进攻中惨败，秦国一举攻进成都，大肆烧***和抢夺，顷见大势已去，便于五月五日抱着一块石头投入汩罗江。楚国人民听到这个消息，从四面八方赶到汩罗江边，纷纷驾舟寻救，但还是未能找到他们心目中的爱国诗人——屈原，人民为了使让他们尊敬的屈原的遗体不被恶吞食，人们就自发地做好粽子投入洒中供鱼儿食用。
这还是我第一次这么正式地过端午节哩!

近几天，上学经过一片芦苇地时，我总会看见几个爷爷奶奶在采芦苇叶，一问才知道，原来是采来包粽子的，这让我不由想起了端午节。我的家乡在湖北荆州，那里住着我的爷爷、奶奶和很多亲人。家乡的端午节很热闹，包粽子、挂菖蒲、艾草，还要赛龙舟。
每年端午节，爷爷会在门上挂上菖蒲和艾草，然后买来芦叶，包好各种形状的粽子。我最喜欢一种叫美人脚的，细长的尖角，配上圆圆的头，不光好吃而且好看。粽子煮好后，除了我们自己吃，爷爷也会送一些给亲朋好友。我们小孩子端午节时可好玩了，吃东家的粽子，扯西家的菖蒲，跟大人一起去采艾叶，学着包棕子，还要用艾叶煮水洗个澡。大人说端午用艾叶水洗了澡后不容易得皮肤病，真有意思。
而龙舟赛事在我的家乡更是有两千多年的历史，在2001年还举办过国际龙舟赛呢，2010年的龙舟赛也非常热闹。爷爷说他年轻的时候还是一名龙舟赛手呢。去年爷爷带我去看龙舟赛，看到几十条装饰非常漂亮的龙舟在护城河上一字排开，随着裁判员一声令下，选手们争先恐后，个个奋力当先，比赛非常精彩，让人惊心动魄。
听爷爷讲，端午节的由来有很多。但是在荆州，端午节就是纪念屈原的节日。屈原是战国时代楚国人，因遭到奸臣陷害，在农历五月初五这一天投江而死。当地老百姓得知这个消息，纷纷划舟去救他;他们用竹筒贮米，投入江中，以免水中动物吞食屈原的尸体。为了纪念屈原，食粽和竞舟的习俗从此就流传下来。
爱国诗人屈原的故事深深打动了我。虽然我现在跟着从军的父亲身在昆明，但我还是想念家乡，想念家乡端午节。

We went to the shopping street, trying on all kinds of clothes, at last, we bought many clothes. This trip is so unforgettable to me.
