这时，李小明看见一群人围着在说话，便蹦蹦跳跳地走了过去。一听，李小明伤心极了，因为他没有过过生日。他的眼泪在眼眶里打转。于是，他握着自己的小手，不让眼泪落下来。
李小明悄悄地回到自己的座位上，盯着窗外，心想：明天就是我的生日了，要是爸爸妈妈能回来跟我一起过生日就好了。
小华知道李小明的爸爸妈妈在外地工作。小华想让全班同学给他庆祝生日。小华就告诉他的同桌小兰，并和她一起商量跟全班同学一起为李小明庆祝生日。
李小明生日那天，全班同学为李小明表演唱歌、跳舞。有的还准备了礼物，还有的一起为李小明买了一个又大又漂亮的蛋糕。李小明开心极了说：“谢谢你们，这是我最难忘的生日。”
