One day, Paula and Richard decided to make a kite.
First they went out and found two straight sticks of the same length. They brought them back home and tied them with a piece of string into the shape of a cross. Then they took some string and used it to tie the four ends of the sticks together. Then, they spread some brightly coloured paper over the frame and glued it around the string.They stuck a tail made of paper to one of the corners, and tied a long string to the centre of the kite.
On the next windy day, they took the kite to a hill near their house and flew it.

首先，他们出门找了两根一样长的直木棍。他们把木棍带回家，用一根绳子把它们绑成十字形。然后他们又拿了些绳子，把木棍的四个顶端连在一起。然后，他们把一些颜色鲜艳的纸涂上胶水，粘在风筝的框架上。他们将纸做的尾巴粘在一角，在风筝中间系上一根长绳。
在接下来的一个有风的日子里，他们就在家附近的小山上放风筝了。

nowadays, we can see some boys and girls who live in a small world of their own. they bury themselves among books and are proud of themselves. they think that it will make them lose their face if they do housework for they often think themselves very noble.
these young people are wrong. in my opinion every student should have a knowledge of housework. after all, they will have a family of their own, and they should do their part in keeping a good home. boys should also learn to do housework, for what will they do if they remain single? though not all boys remain single,yet they will be very helpful in the family if they know some housework. anyhow they will not lose anything, but, on the contrary, they will gain something useful.
for what i said above, we can find some eamples of our fellow-students studying abroad. all young men do housework as girls do. someone would argue that we can employ servants. this is true.however, what shall we do if the servant leaves us and all things are left to ourselves? we just cannot leave our clothes as they are and let worms and ants eat them up. and what can we do it we go and study in a foreign country where servants are out our means to employ? we must work for ourselves. why not start to learn to do housework now or else it will be too late? everyone should learn to do housework. what do you think about my idea, boys and girls?

我想像糕点师一样陶醉在糕点诱人的香味中，现在，我梦想成真了。
我系好围裙，开始我的“新工作”。
第一步是加工粉，我听从阿姨的指挥，把铁罐里的面粉用搅拌机和加工进去的新材料和二为一。在手上包好塑料袋，把面粉取出来，放在一块板上进行下一步。
第二步是用模具给饼干定形。我在板上撒上了一点粉，它们起干燥的和作用。我用双手把面粉压扁，拿起一根棒，双手轻轻地摆上去，用棒把粉搓开，搓到一定厚度，我找出一只猫的轮廓，双手重重地按上去，再拿出与它对应的模具，抓住柄，轻轻地印出里面的形状。这 样，一块猫形饼干诞生了。我又选了一只酒杯形状的模具印上去，它马上就 被我定形了。我还印了一个大爱心，用牙签在上面刻我们一家三口的名字。我仔细地盯着每块饼干，记住了它们的诞生的那一刻。又用剩下的粉继续做，刻出了各种各样的形状，有动漫的、有几何形状的等等。
我端起盘子，饼干们一块块都蹦进了烤箱里，我又期待又紧张，我想：“我的饼干一定很香，很美味吧。”我双手紧握着等待它们出炉。二十分钟左右，它们陆陆续续的跳出来，顿时香气四溢，等它们凉了，就给它们“化妆”，用五颜六色的果酱在饼干上面涂开，使每块饼干变得更加漂亮。我迫不及待地尝了一块，真美味。
我喜欢做饼干，它给我带来了很多乐趣。

我先穿上可爱的小围裙，洗干净手，我就开始 了我的饼干制作了，我拿出一个大大的碗，我先打了一个鸡蛋，我搅了起来，我又拿来称重托盘，把晚放在托盘上，加入白糖、盐和植物油，一系列的佐料加好之后我就使劲的搅，搅了我满头大汗，终于搅均匀了。
我拿出擀面杖，把我搅好的东西平铺在桌子上，用擀面杖用了的弄起来，压得平平的，我用可爱的模具压出了可爱的模型，有可爱的兔子、有一泻千里的骏马……我把压好的模型放进了烤箱。
等了十几分钟，这十几分钟可长了，当时我是又激动又紧张，不知道我的\'饼干烤出来是什么样子。啊！我的饼干香喷喷的出炉了，我拿起一个小兔子，在兔子上涂上美味的巧克力，我给兔子的眼睛涂黑色的，我把饼干身体上涂上粉色，小心翼翼的点缀着饼干。这时，一个萌萌的兔子就完成了，我又连续做了几个可爱的小动物饼干。
我尝了尝我的饼***味道，真是太美味了。
