I have a lovely bedroom. It is small but clean and beautiful. The wall is light green and the floor is white. There is a bed in my bedroom, it is really comfortable. I sleep with it every night. And there is a small sofa near my bed, I always read books on it. There is also a desk in my room, I do my homework on it every evening. Near the desk, there is a shelf. There are many books on the shelf. You can borrow books from me if you like reading.
My bedroom is so good that I like it very much.

暑假刚开始，我就主动向妈妈提出要学做菜和拖地。在妈妈的指导下，我不仅学会了西红柿炒蛋和拌黄瓜，还学会了拖地，并且还独立拖过几次地呢！
今天，爸爸妈妈都不在家。我写完作业，望着又脏又乱的家，觉得这正是我“大显身手”的好机会。
我先是把家里的杂物收拾整齐，又把自己的书桌整理好，然后就拿来扫帚、簸箕开始扫地。别的房间还好，没想到最脏的竟然是我的房间。真是不看不知道，一看吓一跳。看似干净的地板上，竟散落着发丝、橡皮屑、笔芯、纸团等，这些垃圾“品种”还真多！我扫了一小堆。不知不觉，我已经累得大汗淋漓，气喘吁吁了，原来打扫卫生也不是那么简单的。
扫完后，我顾不上擦汗，又按照妈妈教我的`方法拖地。不管是墙角还是书桌的缝隙，我一处也不放过！现在，每个房间都打扫干净了。看着这一尘不染的家，我的喜悦之情油然而生，我高兴得又唱又跳。
妈妈回来了，见到焕然一新的家，什么都明白了。她夸奖了我：“你今天真棒，妈妈很欣慰。说，要什么奖励？”
我高兴地说：“我不需要什么奖励，做自己力所能及的家务是应该的！劳动可以让我获得成就感和快乐。”同学们，拿起你家的扫帚、拖把，和我一起打扫卫生吧！
“洒扫应对”不仅是封建时代儒家教育、学习的基本内容之一，在新时代里，同样也适用！“洒扫应对”这些基本的劳动教育和待人处世的方法，既给父母减轻了负担，又能锻炼我们的身体，还能提高我们的素质，真是“一举三得”呀！希望我们小学生都能做到“洒扫应对”！

Dear Mr.
Please accept my resignation as associate chemist at the GERT Institute. I plan to leave my job here on September 30, 19–, taking a few days of annual leave just prior to that effective date. As you know, my primary interest has been in the oil and gas industry. Therefore, I’ve accepted a position with Fury Refining, Inc., that should put me back in touch with my “first love.” Although I’m eager to accept the challenges in this new position, I regret leaving the institute. You and the organization as a whole have treated me very well over the past three years. I won’t forget the friendship and professional growth I’ve experienced as an employee here.
