每个孩子都有爸爸妈妈照顾，而我还多了一个人，那就是我的奶奶。
我的奶奶每到爸爸妈妈不在家或出远门的时候都会来照顾我，呵护我。让我孤单时也能得到温暖，不再寂寞。我的奶奶身子矮小的，大鼻子，大耳朵和一个大嘴巴。奶奶唯一小的就是那双眼睛（因为眼睑下垂）。我的奶奶是个非常勤劳的人。天天不停的干活，很劳累。可是我小时候并不是这样认为的，心想：整天游手好闲，奶奶可真轻松，直到有一天……
那是一个风和日丽，阳光明媚的早晨，我张开眼睛，便穿上衣服和鞋子，到外面溜达溜达。我刚一开门，只见奶奶在地里干活，往近一瞧，她的脸上还在不停地冒着汗。我疑惑地问奶奶：“奶奶，才六点钟，为什么这么早就下地干活，不歇一会吗？”奶奶抹了一把汗，放下了手里的活，笑呵呵地对我说：“不歇了，也不累，如果我不干活，咱们就吃不上新鲜的、健康的蔬菜了，是不是？哦，对了你饿了吧？刷完牙洗完脸去吃饭吧，饭摆在桌子上了。”我进屋看，一碗热气腾腾的面条和一碗米饭摆在桌子上，我一口气把面条吃了个精光。中午，奶奶，奶奶正在洗手，准备进屋做午饭。我看到奶奶的手，不仅全是皱纹，还长满了茧子。每个手指的关节都非常突出（风湿引起的）。我的心里酸酸的，眼泪就在眼角，我对奶奶说：“奶奶，我不吃了，我不饿了，你歇歇吧！”奶奶摸摸我的头，笑呵呵的说：“怎么了老孙子，等着饭马上就好。”我终于懂得了爱其实就是一件很无私的事。
奶奶的手不仅劳动，而且也用这双热情的双手帮助了许多需要帮助的人。在一个晚上，邻居家孩子病了，家里没有药。这可怎么办？奶奶第一时间跑到邻居家，给小孩送去了退烧的药。那天，奶奶在邻居家呆到很晚，邻居家想给奶奶做些吃的。而奶奶却说：“这是我应该做的。”奶奶回来时已经筋疲力尽，眼皮也睁不开了，我扶着奶奶，心里酸溜溜的，一句话也没说。奶奶虽然没上过学，却用那双勤劳的手让我懂得了什么是爱。
