during these days in your class, i have learned much from you and it is very helpful to me. firstly, you let me know what is the west thinking pattern—straight thinking pattern. and, i think, it is very important to understand the west’s thoughts. as you know, this can help me with my examination and interaction with foreigners. secondly, i have got enough confidence in speaking in english from your class and it took me a long time to gain this confidence. now, i always express my ideas in english as possible as i can. it’s great to do that. the last not the least, i find that learning english is not an boring thing as before and i’m interested in studying english which was just a necessary task to pass examinations. reading, listening or speaking all become interesting and i really enjoy it.

听了您在家长会上的讲话，我很激动，因此给您写这封信，向您倾诉一下我的感受。
真的`，我很庆幸孩子遇到您这样一位思想开明、理念先进的老师。那天，听了您的讲话后，我很认同您培养孩子学习的主观能动性的观念，但是在现代这个社会，我认为孩子的课业实在太重了，家长看着孩子也可怜。
很久以来，我只有一个愿望，那就是让孩子好好地、没有任何任务地美美地睡上一觉，直到自然醒。但自从开学以来，这个愿望始终没有实现过。每一天他都是被我“快点、快点，你还要上课!”的叫声惊醒，醒来后，总得睡眼朦胧地对我说：“妈妈，再睡三分钟。”“不行!”“再睡一分钟。”他梦里还和我讨价还价。看着孩子困倦的样貌，我十分不忍再叫她，总是等到不能不叫时才叫他起床。
在家完成作业时，做作业要规定时间，一般来说，高年级孩子的书写作业应在1小时——1。5小时之内完成。对孩子在作业中遇到的问题，不要急于给予答案，要让他先思考后，再给予必须的帮忙。
作为孩子的母亲，我有太多的无奈和感慨，望您能对我的教育方式、方法提出批评和指正，帮忙我。在此深表感谢!

您工作繁忙，请注意劳逸结合。
我们担心您的工作压力大，尤其是心理上的。或者是由于您来到的这所学校――它可能比较功利。所以想告诉您的是：我们不看重分数。我们看重的是老师和学生的身心愉快与健康；看重的是人间真情；其次是学习方面的学习兴趣的培养和自学习惯的养成。
一向以来，我们感到最不满意的是学校过分的“紧张”、“机械”、“重负担”，它使所有人都苦于应付和劳碌奔命于“学校教育”――这台机器的疯狂运转。而对此，我们是否只能说一句“没有办法”呢？
我们不明白您对教育现实的“个人态度”是怎样，而有可能我们的感受比较偏失和我们的观点不合时宜――让您无从说起，因为人们的世界各有不一样。
我们对于孩子的教育似乎已经只是一种忙于应付完成学校任务的形式了，也就相当于在“心理上”已经放下她了，或者也不得不把她当作工具逼她去考重点了。因此，当读到您写给她的“灵气”二字时，我们的心理有一种深深的无奈与伤感！原先在没有上学之前，她还在学芭蕾、小提琴、画画，我们还准备让她学书法，但上学之后，不得不一一半途而废。此刻我们的最大心愿仅仅是守住最后的底线，即确保她能有充足的睡眠，而务必确保它在八点钟就能够睡觉，而务必确保她的作业在八点之前完成。她只要不生病，我们就已经能谢天谢地。所以，到此刻为止，我们原有的教育措施都已被“淘汰”掉，而不知从什么时候起――“这天作业多不多？”――成了“每日必问”。
但是没有一个人在问：为什么我们还不能够或者还不敢去尝试我们理想中的教育？否则我们对于教育理念懂得再多又有什么用？
我们很想听到您在这方面的感受与。

It's my honor to get the chance to write to you. Nowadays, people seldom write letters, instead, they make a call or send a SMS. However, in some circumstance, writing letters is indispensable.
In the class, you know well how to keep the class active. You've got such an open mind that you can keep leading us to talk about the topic during the whole class. I learned not only the listening and writing skills but also the presentation skills as well as the knowledge of the concerned areas.
In addition, It seems that although I have been studying English during the last many years, I can’t speaking English fluently and precisely like the local people. Would you like to give me some suggestions on how to pronounce English like local people?
