半年前，我们家添了一位新成员——妹妹。在没有妹妹的时候，我可是“帮派老大”，我说一就是一，说二就是二。可是，现在呢，那个小不点一哭，全家人就都向她跑去，一家人围着她转，好像全世界就她需要照顾似的。
我心想：这有什么了不起的，地球离了太阳照样转，她又不是没手没脚。的确，我感觉现在爸爸妈妈不太在乎我了，自己做饭，自己练习跑步，自己骑自行车……总之，以前不能做，不会做的，我都在做。哎！都是妹妹造成的！看到大家都宠爱妹妹，而不喜欢我了，我的小心眼里充满羡慕和嫉妒！
直到那天晚上发生的一件事，瞬间改变了我对妹妹的看法。
一天晚上，我骑自行车回家，发现爸爸一边查阅手机，一边做饭，而妈妈一边给妹妹喂奶，一边用湿毛巾捂着妹妹的脑门儿，“怎么了？”“妹妹发烧了！”“哦。”这时候，我满不在乎，转身去睡觉了。
“啊……啊……”也不知睡了多久，我被哇哇的哭声吵醒。一看，爸爸正在忙不迭地冲药，还一个劲地吹呀吹。妈妈则抱着那个幼小的身躯满屋子溜达，她们急得满头的汗珠不断滴落。听着声声入耳的大哭，看着爸爸妈妈的着急与忙碌，好长时间，我的心开始隐隐作痛，不禁想：我小时候是不是也是这个样子啊？这个小生命太弱小了，太需要呵护了……顿时，我的心里一阵愧疚，这是个脆弱的小生命啊，她需要更多的`关心啊！作为姐姐，还和她这样计较，是不是太不应该了呀！那一刻，我突然间明白，爸爸妈妈依然爱着我，只是现在妹妹需要更多的关爱而已。而我，都已经11岁了，应该学会为分担一些家务，承担起作为姐姐的义务。
从那以后，我开始主动帮妈妈做点事情，比如：洗尿布、扫地、洗碗……现在，爸爸妈妈经常夸我懂事，是他们的好宝贝，我的心里美滋滋的，因为我长大了！
