上课！
老师好。
请坐。现在，站在讲台上的正是我六年级的英语老师王老师。这是他给我们上的第一堂课。
我姓王，但我更希望你们直接喊我大名。全班同学都瞪大了双眼，要是以前，直接称呼老师那可是犯法的。这个为什么呢，他接着讲下去，在外国喊别人大名是最亲切的。不愧是教英语的。我偷偷地跟同桌讲。
这时候，他突然发现，由于是第一堂课，大家坐得跟木头一样，一动不动，每个人都想给老师留下好印象。他又说：在我的课堂，我不喜欢太严肃……话音还没落，同学们一下子就都趴在了课桌上，有的还装作要把脚都放在桌子上，引得同学们哈哈大笑。
他也跟我们一起笑，等大家都笑够了，一个个地又看着老师，想知道他接下来到底还能说些什么。
他见到大家都盯着他，竟惊讶地说都看着我干嘛，我又不是熊大熊二！全班又哄堂大笑。
身边的同学笑得东倒西歪的，我都笑出眼泪来了。一个男生站起来喊道：老师，可以问一下你名字的第二个字怎么念吗？说完又指向黑板上刚刚老师写的名字。
对，这个大家要注意了，‘羲’这个字念‘xi’第一声，笔画是这样的，看清楚……这下子，好好的英语课变成了语文课，下面的同学一直憋笑到了下课铃响。
同学们，下课了。我想在这说几句话，老师突然变得严肃起来，我只想告诉你们：在学习时认真学，在玩时认真玩，给我玩出水平来！老师和学生有时虽然有代沟，但我们依然可以成为朋友。你们喜欢我，才会喜欢英语这门课，才会把英语学好！这就是我要说的。
在这时，全班竟第一次所有人那么安静地听老师讲课。
那一节课，到现在想起来还是可以使我的心情无比轻松愉快，也令我明白了老师对学生的一种付出。王老师的幽默、风趣、不拘一格的教学方法都使六（5）班那四十个同学永远难忘。
