Mary wants to be a fashion designer because she likes beautiful clothes and is good at drawing. Kate wants to be a gardener, she lives plants, and she wants to make the cities better. Mike would like to be a writer. He’d like to share his wonderful stories with others. Tom would like to be a cook. He’d like to cook delicious food for others. I would like to be a policeman. I want to protect the people safe.
Hopefully everyone can realize their dreams in the future.

长城万里一雄关，天下奇门锁海山。早就盼望着能去天下第一关山海关一览雄姿，暑假里的一天，终于实现了我的夙愿。
还没有抵达山海关，那雄伟的轮廓已经投入眼帘，只见绵延的城楼后面环绕着绵延的苍山，前面面对的是汹涌的碧海，万里长城仿佛是它有力的臂膀，守卫着这身后的万千顷土地，我不禁感叹，真不愧为“天下第一关”。
车子到了城下，再看，城楼更为高大，黑洞洞的城门口和两旁雄壮的两尊石狮让人不禁赞叹它们的雄伟与凛然不可侵犯的威严。向上仰视，映入眼帘的便是那檐下的巨幅横匾，上面是古代的书法家肖显挥毫泼墨书写的'五个大字“天下第一关”，虽经过了千百年历史的磨洗，但还是那样地熠熠生光，书韵不减。
我们顺着城楼两侧的石阶上了城，在这几层楼高的城墙上，可以五马并驰，两侧曲曲弯弯，一直延伸到大山的背后。
大殿门前的那个箭垛是整个城堡的中心点主城楼，翁城以及脚下的城门等，都是按照它的基准来的。站在这儿向前看去，在视野的尽头，有隐约可见的蔚蓝色的海水和银色的波光，眼前的平川，虽已建起工厂和商店，但不难想象，在久远的古代是血染黄尘的沙场，有多少中华儿女为御外侮，抗敌寇，保卫中华民族而浴血奋战，最后壮烈牺牲。然而他们的精神却是永垂青史的！
收回视线，我们再回殿内去看看，推开沉重的大门，跨过一尺来高的门槛，迎门的桌案上摆着一口钢刀，在这阴森森的环境下，显得冷峻肃穆，寒气逼人。看了说明才知道，这钢刀是在明朝时铸造的，有166斤重。从那砍得巨齿般的刀口，从那刀身上的斑斑锈迹、完全可以想象出它当年立下的卓著战功。大殿左边的墙上摆着七支羽箭，右边墙下，摆着一副盔甲，锈迹斑斑，残缺不全，一看就知道是一位身经百战将军的遗物。在陈设大刀后面的墙上，挂着一个与城门上相同的大匾，原来这是书法家的手笔，城门上的只不过是个复制品而已。
不知不觉已经夕阳西下，太阳斜挂在天边挂城楼，山川和万里海疆染得火红，而在这一片的浑红中，天下第一关——山海关显得更加气势磅礴，更加雄伟壮丽。

Everyone has his own dream. I want to be a good doctor in the future. The reason is that some doctors saved my life after I was badly hurt in a traffic accident. I was deeply impressed by their medical skils and greatly moved by their care for me. From then on, to be a doctor in the future has always been my dream.
Our dreams can’t be realized unless we make all our efforts. Therefore, the first thing I will do is to remember what my dream is. I won’t let it leave my mind, because it will help me to keep trying and fighting for what I want. What’s more, I will do my best to increase my knowledge and improve my abilities to prepare myself for an excellent doctor. Last but not least, I will never give up. Though there may be difficulties on the road to my dream, I will always feel confident and work hard.

相传有一只小鸟，它的'理想就是飞过汪洋大海。但是一路上有太多的风雨，仅凭小鸟的力量是无法实现的。所以它选择了一截树枝，以便于自己能够随时休息。最终，这只小鸟飞过了海洋。
实现理想的旅途中总会有许多风雨，你是否会因为那些而偏离正轨?如果是，就请找好你实现理想所必须的那截树枝吧，它会为你指引一条正确的道路。
那截树枝可以是坦言失败。我一直很喜欢沈从文，尤其是沈从文身上所散发出的名家风范。记得曾经有一篇文章名为《沈从文“写课”》给了我诸多启示。何谓“写课”?原来是沈从文第一次给同学讲课的时候太过紧张，准备好的一堂课的内容几分钟就讲完了，随后他拿笔在黑板上写了原因，坦言自己的失败。假设那截树枝是坦言失败，我想即使失败了我们也能够重新站起来，不畏惧任何艰难险阻，矢志不移地去追求属于自己的理想。
那截树枝可以是谦逊。中国有句古语：“满招损，谦受益”，所以谦逊是实现理想必要的素质。一个人只有保持谦逊的态度，才能步步为营。自然界中有一种很奇妙的现象——静水深流。投身到人的身上也就是说凡是有能力的人从来不显露自己，正所谓“真人不露相”。假设那截树枝是谦逊，我们就能始终清醒地认识自己，量力而行，将理想一点点转化成现实。
那截树枝还可以是信任。“人无信不立”，一个人要想向前走，最重要的就是创造出一个良好的大环境，信任便是这主要因素。我们不可能事事顺心，我们更不可能凡事都自己克服。所以我们需要信任，同他人一起共创美好未来。假设那截树枝是信任，那么为理想奋斗的就不只是个人，而是一个群体，实现理想的机率自然而然就加大了。
无论你选什么，但那截树枝绝对不可以是逃避，骄傲与猜疑，否则就像运动员冲出跑道，离理想越来越远。
有一位大师穷尽其一生练就了“移山大法”，但秘决只有一个：“山不过来，我就过去”，真正移山是不可能的。理想也正是这样，我们需要自己去争取，而那截树枝使我们不会偏离目标。
去追寻理想，风景这边独好。
