“妈妈”，一个多么亲切的称呼啊！许多年后，我也会成为一位妈妈。如果我是妈妈，我会给孩子一个自由发展的空间。
每当我的考试成绩不理想时，妈妈总会气势汹汹地请我吃一顿“竹笋炒肉丝”，然后喋喋不休地责骂我。同学们，你们一定也“享受”过这种特殊待遇吧？如果我是妈妈，在孩子没有取得好成绩时，我会先看看孩子出错的题目，自己把这些错误琢磨透后，再一步步地引导他，让他明白正确的解题思路，使他学会举一反三。我还会鼓励他，让他不要灰心丧气，争取下一次取得好成绩。如果孩子考试成绩很好，我当然会表扬他，告诉他进步了。但是，我还会帮他分析自身存在的不足，并督促他改掉坏习惯。如果他骄傲了，我会耐心地劝导他，告诉他许多因为骄傲而导致失败的例子。
经常听同学说，为了不让自己输在起跑线上，妈妈总是逼着他们学各种兴趣班，无情地剥夺了他们的休息时间。我妈妈也是这样，总是武断地替我报兴趣班，从不在乎我的感受。如果我是妈妈，我是不会强迫孩子的。因为我知道，兴趣是最好的老师，如果没有兴趣，只是为完成任务的话，即使你有再高的天赋也会半途而废。只有自己感兴趣，孩子才会主动地花精力，并力争做到最好。所以，在学兴趣班上，我会尊重孩子的选择。如果孩子本身在学习上就有欠缺，我绝不会逼着他上补习班，而是每天抽出一定时间给他做练习题，并耐心帮助他分析出错的原因。我相信：经过孩子坚持不懈的努力，他的学习成绩一定能提高。当然，学习之余，我还会带他亲近大自然，从中学到书本上学不到的知识。
妈妈总是对我说，外面坏人很多，从不让我独自一个人上学、放学。如果我是妈妈，我会告诉孩子安全注意事项，让他独自上下学，从小养成独立自主的好习惯。我更不会每天帮他整理书包，因为这是他自己的责任。孩子年龄小，不敢一个人睡觉，这倒可以理解，但是等他上了小学，我便会让他一个人睡。因为我知道，只有独立自主的人，将来才有可能成为人生的赢家。
