那天，我在找我原本已经不要的那本童话书，因为里面夹着一份妈妈的资料。但却无意间找到了那张陈旧的照片，那是爸爸过25岁生日的照片，时间过得真快，转眼已经过了十年了，那时，我才1岁，一看，右下角写着，1月22日。我一想，不就是今天吗？想到平时爸爸在我遇到不会做的题，就会放下手中的事情，耐心的教我；在我生病时，还无微不至地照顾我，虽然有时爸爸对我很严格，总是排斥爸爸对我的严格管教。但爸爸也有幽默，搞笑的另一面，闲着的时候总会讲笑话把我们逗得哈哈大笑。爸爸他真是以为尽到职责的好父亲。我想送爸爸一个惊喜，用零花钱给爸爸买了一个提包。
我立刻把我的.想法告诉了妈妈。妈妈赞同我的想法，接着我们就去买了爸爸喜欢的大龙虾，水灵灵的小白菜，活生生的鲤鱼……然后把我积攒了很久的零花钱给爸爸买了一个手提包。回到家，我们赶紧忙活了起来。到了傍晚，爸爸下班回家了，他一进来就看见桌上的菜和一旁领着礼物的我和妈妈，热泪盈眶。爸爸说：“你真的懂事了，不是以前那个不听话，不讲理的小公主了，要不是你们提醒，我还真忘了！”大家都笑了，笑声荡漾在屋子里，。
通过这件事，我明白了，长辈永远是我要感激的人，我的一切都是他们给予我们的，我们不但要珍惜，还要懂得感恩和回报！
