有一个星期日，当我从课外培训学校走向车站，准备乘车回家时，突然想到今天没带钱包，我的心顿时紧了起来。脑子里一下子冒出了许多问题：今天怎么回家？难道要走回去？我立刻把浑身上下每一个口袋和书包的任何一个角落都翻了个遍。还好，还找到了九角钱。可是只有九角钱，还差一角钱，还是不够。我又把书包找了一遍，希望能找到遗留下的一角钱，可是却没有。这是我的脑子里闪出了一个主意，反正我坐的也是无人售票的投币式公共汽车，我塞进去九个一角钱，司机也不一定会注意到，说不定还能蒙混过关。好，就这么办！
等了几分钟，一辆车来了。有许多人上了车，我被夹在他们中间。前面的人都一个个把钱塞了投币口，快轮到我了，我的心就像揣着一个小兔子似的，“咚咚咚”地跳个不停。当我刚要往投币口塞钱的时候，排在我后面的那位叔叔对我说：“同学，我这里只有一张两元钱，没有一元零钱，你把你的钱给我，我帮你把钱投进去，可以吗？”
我的脸上感觉热热的。我不敢当着那么多人的'面儿，告诉他我这里只有九角钱。面对司机以及乘客的一声声催促，我尽管心里有些害怕，但还是不由自主地把钱给了他。那位叔叔把钱塞进去后，就开始数我给他的九角钱，这时我浑身上下都在冒汗，脑子里也在想怎样回答他的质问。
当他数完九个一角钱的时候，刚才想到的那一大串为自己辩解的话，一下子都说不出来了。脸上火辣辣的。而那位叔叔只是浅浅地笑了一下，什么都没有说，然后走到车后面坐了下来。这一切来得那么突然，又平息地如此迅速。
这个叔叔用自己的微笑，使一个女孩子的自尊心不受伤害。也许在别人看来，这是微不足道的，但是，在我心中已为他树起一个高大的形象。这件事虽然不会令我热泪盈眶，但是这一生，我都会记忆犹新的。

我和姐姐找了个安全的地方，准备放花炮。我给了姐一个“金猴飞天”，姐姐撕开包装纸，用香去点燃捻子。瞪大眼睛，急忙往后退了两步，等着看奇妙的景色。“味”的一声，花炮向四周猛地喷出金光闪闪的花，先形成一个黄色圈，又从黄色圈中冲出一个“小猴子”。这个“小猴子”蹿上了半天空，身后只留下一条白光带。看到了这景色，我不禁想起孙悟空大闹天空的情景。——啊，我可大饱眼福了。“再放一个‘铁扇公主’吧!”姐姐兴奋地对我说。我顾不上回答，一边点头一边找火点“铁扇公主”的捻子。我那捻子刚一燃着，一个明晃晃的盒子就自动张开了，先是吐出一股“火舌”，随后出现了一个女子。啊，那便是铁扇公主了!只见她手持一把美丽的大扇子，转着身子，活灵活现，栩栩如生。我指着这美丽的火花，情不自禁地拍手叫着：“真美呀!”
后来，我和姐姐又放了许多烟花，有空中笛轮，有百花迎春……个个都绚丽多彩，让我们看得眼花缭乱，目不暇接。“再有一分钟就十二点了!快挂好鞭炮!”姐姐催我了。我高兴得跳起来，忙去挂好了那串串鞭炮。还用颤抖的嗓音数着：“五十八秒，五十九秒，快点!”好，电光炮响起来了，震耳欲聋的炮声迎来了新的一年!千家万家的烟花交错升起，像夜明珠一样，把天空照得如同白昼。整个城市都沸腾起来了，它预示着来年的繁荣富强、幸福无疆!

晚上，我们都睡觉了，文具盒里吵吵闹闹。
铅笔说：“我应该是你们的头儿！小主要天天拿我写字、画画。都是我的功劳，就连我的铅断了，小主人也会把我削的尖尖的，把我伺候比你们都好，所以，我得当你们的头儿。”

橡皮慢吞吞的说：“你们不要争了，功劳最大的应当是我！”“怎么会是你？牛皮快被你吹破了。”铅笔不肖的说。橡皮举了个例子说：“如果你写错了字，就得用我吧。”铅笔说：“对啊。”“这不了结了吗，还是我的功劳大吧！”橡皮骄傲的说。铅笔气的无话可说。
