微山湖镶嵌在广袤的华北平原上，京杭古运河纵贯全湖南北。湖滨东依山峦，西接平原，南连苏北富庶之地，北靠孔孟圣贤之乡。微山岛、湖上渔村、南阳古镇、梁祝古墓、伏羲陵、****泉、铁道游击队纪念园……如颗颗珍珠洒在湖内，异彩纷呈，美不胜收。
美丽的微山湖是一首歌，一首美妙动听的歌，渔舟唱晚，雁叫笛鸣。
美丽的微山湖，我的家乡，她一年四季总是那么风姿绰约，美丽动人。
微山湖的鱼，种类多，味道美，做法独特，微山湖渔馆开遍全国，微山湖的四鼻孔大鲤鱼曾经作为贡品得到乾隆皇帝的称赞。这里还盛产松花蛋、莲子、菱米、芡实等。“日出斗金”的说法确实不虚。
