而后生们一旦敲响腰鼓“发狠了，忘情了，没命了。”让“冰冷的空气立即变的燥热了”使“恬静的阳光立即变的飞溅了”把“困倦的世界立即变的亢奋了”一步一步，将后生门捶腰鼓的激情，尽情的展现在我们眼前。后生们的“胳膊、腿、全身有力的搏击着。”“每个舞姿都充满力量”“都是光与影的变幻”都使人叹为观止。
对于节奏的描写，在本文是我最喜欢的部分：“骤雨一样，是急促的鼓点；旋风一样，是飞扬的流苏；乱蛙一样，是蹦跳的脚步；火花一样，是闪射的瞳仁；斗虎一样，是强健的风姿。”这一段排比使用了比喻把腰鼓敲响的壮阔、豪放描写的淋漓尽致，使人如临其境，如闻其声。最终，人，成了茫茫一片……
待到腰鼓戛然而止的一瞬间，“世界出奇地静，以致使人感到对她十分陌生，像来到另一个星球”。把激情过后的冷静，写的绘声绘色。
