站在迪拜的街头，首先映入眼帘的是一排如鱼鳞般繁多的摩天大厦，像一个个撑天立地的巨神矗立在纵横交错的大道边，大道上有红轿车，黄汽车……各种各样的车形成了一条彩色的车流，真是一片繁华。
大道旁铺着绿绒绒的地毯，看了都让人想躺上去，那可不行。看看身边吧：绿树成阴，鲜花遍地，不见有人攀树枝，摘鲜花或是在草地上行走，更不用谈躺上去了。
来到迪拜的中心公园，这里鲜花满地，红的似火，粉的似霞，白的似雪，五彩缤纷，各种各样。其中池塘里的荷花可算是数量最多的了。如圆盘的荷叶托着一朵朵荷花。这些荷花有的是含苞欲放的花骨朵儿，有的是半开半闭的小花朵，还有的时全部绽放的大花盘。每一种的样子都让人看了陶醉，每一种的花香都让人心旷神怡，甚至那花朵中的嫩黄色的莲蓬都会让你流连忘返。花池旁边还有一座喷泉，那如白雪般晶莹的水花，会让你误认为是哪位仙女在泉底往外喷着仙露呢!绿树、鲜花、翠草、高楼、喷泉……这一切一切组成了美丽富饶的迪拜。
看着这样的情景，谁会想到这儿曾经是一片黄沙的温天，淡小重缺的沙漠呢!这一切都归功于这里的人民。他们并没有因为环境的恶劣而退缩，而是买来泥土，买来树苗和花草而买这些东西的资金是从哪儿来的呢?不都是他们用自己的汗水和心血换来的吗?可以毫不夸张地说，在这里，培育一株植物的费用抵得上培养一个孩子。让我们一志来学习这种精神，用自己的双手改造环境吧!
