人生中有许多东西需要去解决，但不能只用一种方法。只有试试改变自我，努力开拓视野，才能认识新的事物，解决问题。
作为一位标准的理科生，物理成绩是肯定优异的，一般的考试都能在九十五分以上。父母为了让我以后有第二条路可走，给我报了一个物理竞赛班。而在物理竞赛班上，我还是像平常一样去学习。
我是个比较幸运的孩子，在理科方面可能学得比较容易一些。因而在平时我就不是那么用功了：上课就像看老师表演独角戏，白板上的笔记想记就记，不喜欢就不记，有时还会想想课堂之外的东西，甚至还会写一些别的作业。就算是这样，成绩依然是相当的好。我以为到了补习班，我照样可以学得很好。
到了补习班，老师很快就来了。我本以为讲的是什么高大上的东西，结果一听，仅仅是现在学校里就可以学到的内容，没有什么意思，便去玩计算器了。
很快，下课时间到了。我回顾四周，看一看有没有什么认识的同学，结果却看到了所有的人都在学习：有复习错题的，有拿书刷题的，有预习新课的，就唯独我在这儿东张西望，无所事事。哎，既然大家都在学习，那我干脆也看会书吧，消遣一下……
于是，一节课就这样过去了。接下来的课程如同白驹过隙，很快就到了结班测试的日子。
“这些题目还是比较简单的。”我不屑地想着。可越是到后面，题目就越来越难，甚至连题目本身都理解不了。最终，别人考了——十分，而我只得了七十三分。怎么可能会这样?以前我不认真听讲照样拿高分，现在呢?分数只能以“七”打头了，这是怎么回事啊?观望试卷，似乎也不是那么难，其实解法一对，什么都出来了，那为什么我在考试的时候就没有想到呢?
我重新审视了一下试卷，仔细地观察试卷的结构和错题的原因。题目看似出得杂乱无章，实际是循序渐进的'，甚至都是老师讲解过的内容，特别是难题。而我错的大部分都是所谓的难题，另外还有小计算。我再仔细看了看书，发现上面的例题，从我一屑不顾的小题，渐渐扩展，渐渐深入，最后就出现了把我一拳打倒的大题。原来那些枯燥的题目，都是为后面做铺垫的。而我却因为前面的题目过于简单，干脆就不听了，于是错过了真正重要的东西。这一切根源在于我的视野不够开阔，只盯着眼前，却忘了书中乾坤，题里日月。
我以前都被好成绩养娇惯了，还认为自己是数一数二的特长生。现在面对这样一个高手云集的班，我才发现我是那么的无所适从。面对这个新的问题，我只能抛弃原来的观念，与他们一样，课上课下都要埋头苦学，这样才能让我变得更加强大。
又是一次结班测试，这次我考了八十九分，我重新和他们站在了一起。我知道，我可以的。
改变自我，迎接的是更好的自己。

大家也都知道，中国很长一段时间的落后是因为清朝的闭关锁国。清朝的统治者认为自己的国家已经足够强大了，不需要与外界交往了，这就是统治者的愚昧无知了。再拿唐朝来说，唐朝之所以强大，就是因为它与外界交往，不断吸收外来的文化，不断进步。这也告诉我们，提升自己是非常重要的。中国最黑暗的时光是因为缺少了知识，缺少了见识。而如今的中国不断吸收外来的先进的文化，不断提升自己，光明的未来就在眼前。

吃饱穿暖是父母给的，而去追求人生的顶峰是靠自己拼来的。如果每一个人都屈于现状，那么不会成功，更不会达到人生顶峰，开辟新境界就想都不要想了。古诗里说“长风破浪会有时，直挂云帆济沧海”，让我们一起去克服困难，追求自己的人生境界，攀上人生顶峰吧！
