中心公园在永新县的中心区，面积达8.9万平方米，座落在建设东路与湘赣大道的齐界处，位于永新县城的北面。
南面的大广场上很宽阔，有的人晚上时跟着音乐跳起舞来，有的人穿好溜冰鞋在广场上高高兴兴溜冰，还有的人在广场上跑着放风筝。
中间有一个宽大的露天舞台，舞台中有一座银白色的雕像，每当一些节日时，有的人就会在舞台上表演节目，有一次我爸爸的同学也在这开了一次演唱会呢！这些人的表演经常引来人们的啧啧赞叹声。
中心公园中心有一个弯弯的水渠，沿水渠走了走，就到了文化长廊，这里展览着很多人写的字与画的画，比如有一张是这样写的：祝大家马年吉祥！……过了一会儿，我离开走廊来到了摄影展。到了摄影展，我首先看见了一方白色的网上镶嵌着“永新县摄影艺术展”八个红色的大字，里面有许多相片。
北面有一个将军雕塑广场，进雕塑群中，先映入眼帘的是一块黑色的大理石上写着“大力经营永新”，我看了看右下角，知道了这句话是毛某某毛某某写的。大理石上方，是我们中国艳红的军旗。大理石周围有4个中将的雕像，围绕雕像有一面有37个少将的墙，墙下有37个少将的介绍。

早晨，整座中心公园笼罩在薄薄的雾里，像盖上了一层轻纱，显得神秘而美丽。
空气中弥漫着一股香气，桂花一簇一簇的在绿叶间绽开着，小小的，黄黄的，像一颗颗金色的小米粒。我深深地吸了一口气，顿时觉得泌人心脾，神清气爽。草坪绿油油的，想一块绿色的毯子，每棵小草上都挂着晶莹剔透的露珠，像一颗颗珍珠，在清晨的阳光下闪闪发光。活泼的鸟儿在树上叽叽喳喳地欢唱着。一些爷爷，奶奶早早地来到公园锻炼身体。他们在草地上打太极，在喷泉池边跳舞，在湖边散步........。湖里的小金鱼用尾巴拨起了一圈一圈的水花，好像也在随着音乐舞蹈。
中午，太阳高照，整个湖面的美景和周围的建筑都清晰的倒映在水中。强烈的阳光下，树木和花草都默默地低着头，无奈地忍受着。这时吹来了一阵风，小树的叶子被吹得哗啦哗啦地响，好像在说：“中午太热了，我的叶子都要被烤熟了。”此时的中心公园里寂静无声。
