今天我们来到了马来西亚的最著名的避暑胜地——云顶啦！
导游告诉我们，云顶是一个避暑胜地，一个白云中的城市。云顶高原位于吉隆坡以北50公里，在雪兰莪州与彭亨州交界处，海拔1700多米，属中央山脉的一部分，有公路盘旋直达山顶。高原面积约4900公顷，平均气温只有15摄氏度，为东南亚最大的高原避暑胜地，也是马来西亚最重要的旅游胜地之一。你来马来西亚旅游，不到云顶旅游，就不算是到过马来西亚旅游。云顶高原于1965年开发，是由一位福建籍华人——林梧桐老先生独资建立的，乍一看很像个游乐园，是马来西亚唯一的合法赌场。
你在云顶这座山上，看到的一草一木，酒店宾馆，包括赌场都是一个人——林梧桐老先生的财产。如果这里挖到的金矿啊银矿啊，不需要交给国家，这一座山都是他的。
说起他啊！告诉你一个小秘密噢！林梧桐先生连小学三年级都没有毕业，是一个不折不扣的文盲。可是这样一个文盲竟然可以成为一个亿万富翁，简直令人难以置信，这需要怎样的魄力啊！
当年林梧桐先生买下这座山时，他所有的亲戚朋友都笑话他，说他傻，认为这根本就是一桩亏本的买卖。可他不顾别人的嘲笑，硬是要把这座山弄成一个避暑胜地，一个白云中的城市。这是需要怎样的坚强毅力啊！可是他做到了！
