作者维克多雨果生活在一个动荡并文化激荡的时期，他以笔杆来挑逗，激起人们内心中的反抗。运用许多的冲击对比来达到抒发本真思想。充满浪漫主义的他，以巴黎圣母院的小说，通过描写善良的吉普赛少女爱斯梅拉尔达在中世纪封建专制下受到摧残和迫害的悲剧，反映了专制社会的黑暗，反动教会的猖獗和司法制度的残酷，突出了反封建的主题，充分表现自身的特色。
巴黎圣母院副主教克洛德道貌岸然、蛇蝎心肠，先爱后恨，迫害吉卜赛女郎爱斯梅拉达。面目丑陋、心地善良的敲钟人加西莫多为救女郎舍身。故事情节复杂，人物性格夸张，整部作品以色彩浓郁的笔墨写出，充分体现了浪漫主义小说的特点。小说在内容的安排中，将腐朽的封建王朝和高尚纯洁的`“奇迹王朝”，两个法庭，两种审判，两个绞架，两个社会等进行对比描写。而在细节上体现美与丑的对比，善与恶的冲突，悲剧中又能体现喜剧，种种任务上的性格突出到种种特色赋予了巴黎圣母院不一样的历史风貌，给人以情感上的共鸣。
年少时看，感受的是人物本身的性格特色之间的冲突。通过这几种矛盾对照格局，小说实现了“丑就在美的旁边，畸形靠近着优美，丑怪藏在崇高的背后，美与恶并存”。浅层的联想到悲剧的存在是为了衬托其中的矛盾。
即将步入社会时重温，感受更多是联想现在的社会，现在自己身边的社会以及自己的存在。社会同样是多彩的，在彩色的其中也包括了黑暗与光明两种色彩，它们都不是纯粹的颜色，其中会参杂其他的颜色，正因为社会是由人所组成的大家庭，所以才会有这纯粹中带着不纯粹的我们。其中的丑与美，善与恶，悲剧与喜剧，统统会出现在人们的身边。其中的冲突又何其多，而与此同时，抨击的又会是什么，就靠个人体会与着重。步入社会，就是进入新的社会，将体会更加不同的世界，从而更多的是从学会学习到学会生活。人无法自我生活，只能依靠社会，所以只能你去适应社会，而不能让社会来适应你。从《巴黎圣母院》著作中，更多的是体会现在自身的社会情况，从而有想法的走出一条适合自己的路，一条自己能迎接走向社会的路。
每次阅读《巴黎圣母院》，都会有不同的感想，正是这种不同的美好，才会让人心生激情，都出不同的风采。

还有我以前很好奇那些奥特曼，他们那么厉害，有一次我让我爸爸给我买个奥特曼变身器，爸爸给我买回来了，我就带到学校想去试试，刚到学校我就看见有个大孩子在欺负一个小孩子，我想这刚好还可以试一试，我就拿出变身器，按照电视上面的开始变身，过了一会，我就去帮那个小孩子，结果我也被打了一顿，把我气得拿着变身器就摔在地下，坐在地上大哭，过了一会老师来了，就把我带了进去。
我们童年的时候很天真那勉会做出一些可笑的事。
