七月十九日，我和妈妈去游北海公园。我们一进北海公园的大门，映入眼帘的是无边无际的荷塘，翡翠般的荷叶在微风的吹拂下翻起一层层碧浪，躲在荷叶后面的一朵朵娇艳的荷花露出了红彤彤的笑脸。水中，鱼儿在不停的嬉戏，享受着水中的清凉。看着这样美丽的景色，真的使人忘记了炎炎酷暑，顿感神清气爽。这就是美丽的北海。蒙古语把湖泊叫做海子，不过“海”给我的感觉是辽阔无边的，北海称之为海，一点也不夸张，因为我所看到的只是它的一小部分。
抬头眺望，就可以看到北海公园的标志性建筑——白塔。这个雄伟的建筑坐落在琼岛的山顶上，在树木的掩映下白塔拔地而起，好像一把利剑要刺破天空。我们过了一座小桥来到琼岛，开始爬山。到了山顶向下俯视，北海公园的景色尽收眼底：碧波荡漾的北海犹如一块流动的碧玉，湖边一座座亭台楼阁，一颗颗参天古树，一株株娇艳花草交相辉映，真是富有诗情画意。
下了山，我们来到了团城。院子里摆放着一口大玉瓮。瓮口是椭圆形的，外壁雕刻着许多海洋中的动物：海马、海象、鱼等。当元世祖宴请群臣的时候，就用它盛酒。过了玉瓮就是团城中心的承光殿了，殿里供奉着一尊白玉坐佛，它的头顶和衣服上镶嵌着许多红色和绿色的宝石，闪闪发光。团城中还有几颗高大的树木，叫雪松，它的树皮就像覆盖着一层白皑皑的雪，果然是名不虚传。它们树干粗壮，树形优美，大概都有上百岁了吧。
出了团城，在北海边的一个石台上，我们意外地看见了两只鹅，一只白色的，一只黑色的，那只黑鹅最为有趣，它闭着眼睛，好像在睡觉，微张着嘴，口水从嘴巴里一滴一滴地流下来，它可能在做梦，梦见美食了吧。
多么美丽的北海呀！有山有水，有花有树，有动有静，有古代的亭台楼阁，巍巍白塔，有现代的身穿各色服装的中外游人，奇妙地融合在一起，真是让人流连忘返。

Each brick is very big and heavy. Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall.
We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited. If you want to know more about the Palace Museum, you can go to Beijing and have a look. The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, Tian Tan, North Lake and Xiang Hill. I now know more about the history of China. I also like modern Beijing. The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.
Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing. I like this trip!
