got an idea. I ran home and opened my computer. I made a beautiful card and mailed him through the Internet. then I began to make supper. When father came home, he was very glad to find a big meal on the table. then I asked him to check his e-mail. He was amazed to find a beautiful card in his e-mail-box.

外婆先把一捧刚从山上挖来的、长着毛茸茸短毛的艾草放在地上。和我一起把混在里面的杂草、碎泥清除掉，洗净后倒入锅里，放上一些面碱，加水煮。
水开了，锅里热气腾腾，泛着深绿色的泡沫。这时，外婆把锅里的水舀到早就准备好的半脸盆米粉上，拌匀后，用双手用力搓。外婆不停地揉呀揉呀，脸盆底不时发出“吧嗒吧嗒”的.响声。一会儿，一大团翠绿色的米粉团揉好了。
开始做艾饺了，外婆熟练地从粉团上扯下一小团，用双手一搓，转眼间成了一个粉球，摊在左手掌上，用右手一揿，粉球变成了粉饼。接着，她用手指由里向外不停地捏粉饼。粉饼越来越大，越来越薄，像一只绿色的菜碟摊放在外婆掌上。只见外婆左手托粉饼，右手拿筷子，把笋丝、肉丁、咸菜等陷料放进去，再把粉饼合拢，用手指小心翼翼地把边沿粘上。原来的粉饼成了一个半月形，肚子鼓鼓的，活像只绿色的荷包蛋。这时，外婆微微一笑，把拇指一翻，绿荷包蛋边上便出现了一道道美丽的花纹，煞是好看。就这样，一只只精巧、美观的艾饺不断地在外婆那双巧手里诞生……
晚上，当一碗墨绿色的、散发着艾草清香的艾饺放在我面前时，我禁不住狼吞虎咽地大吃起来。
