nowadays, we can see some boys and girls who live in a small world of their own. they bury themselves among books and are proud of themselves. they think that it will make them lose their face if they do housework for they often think themselves very noble.
these young people are wrong. in my opinion every student should have a knowledge of housework. after all, they will have a family of their own, and they should do their part in keeping a good home. boys should also learn to do housework, for what will they do if they remain single? though not all boys remain single,yet they will be very helpful in the family if they know some housework. anyhow they will not lose anything, but, on the contrary, they will gain something useful.
for what i said above, we can find some eamples of our fellow-students studying abroad. all young men do housework as girls do. someone would argue that we can employ servants. this is true.however, what shall we do if the servant leaves us and all things are left to ourselves? we just cannot leave our clothes as they are and let worms and ants eat them up. and what can we do it we go and study in a foreign country where servants are out our means to employ? we must work for ourselves. why not start to learn to do housework now or else it will be too late? everyone should learn to do housework. what do you think about my idea, boys and girls?

冬日的阳光，依然有着温暖。午后，我来到金山公园散步。静静的金山公园传来了“豆花，豆花”的叫卖声，声音有由远而近。一辆卖豆花三轮车停在我的面前。“哥老倌，来豌豆花吧！”很多年没有吃过豆花了，就来了一碗。嘴里含着热乎乎的豆花，我却想起了母亲做的豆花。
小时候，家里很困难。要想吃到豆花，那都是过年才有的口福。春节临近时，母亲就开始为过年准备了，家里除了要准备点腊肉外，最重要的就是准备豆花。
记得每年春天，母亲在自家的田边地角，甚至是生产队废弃的土埂上，种下黄豆。春夏季节，母亲利用队上出工的`间隙，给豆苗施肥除草，期待秋季的收获。到了秋天，豆角有点黄的时节，母亲带着我们弟兄去收割黄豆，收好后放在自家的院坝晾晒。晒干后，母亲铺上晒席，拿出镰盖，一遍一遍的扑打，将黄豆与豆枝分离。不断挥动的手臂，让镰盖在空中划出一个个圆圈。镰盖夹砸在豆秆上面，发出啪啪的声音，回响在寂静的村子上空。飞扬的尘土，飘落在母亲的秀发上，美丽的母亲变得蓬头垢面。一场大汗后，豆秆与黄豆完全分开，然后用风车，将杂枝彻底清除。风车的漏斗里，哗哗地滴落着金黄色的豆子，这样家里就有豆花吃了。由于母亲的勤劳，家里每年都要收获几十斤黄豆。黄豆收成好的年份，父亲还拿到集市上去卖，换回猪肉和家里的其他急需品。父亲劳累的时候，母亲就煎上一碗给父亲下酒。剩下的挂在高高的房梁上，留着过年吃。
待到年前十几天，母亲从房梁上取下豆子，将豆子泡好。由于全生产队只有一个磨子，家家户户都要做豆腐，于是，母亲天还没有亮就去排队。轮到我们家磨豆子了，母亲就号召我们弟兄全上。母亲和我用扁担推动作磨盘，一圈一圈，围着大大的磨盘不停地走着，在石磨转动的吱嘎声中，浸泡透了的黄豆变成了白乎乎的豆浆。推着推着，我感觉天地都在旋转，晕倒在地上，母亲没有埋怨。自己一个人吃力的推着那个大大的石磨。冬日的时节，我看见母亲脸上都有汗珠滴下，母亲依然咬牙将十几斤豆子推完。
稍息片刻，母亲又开始煮豆腐。十几斤的豆浆水，放入家里的大铁锅。我负责烧火。干燥的豆秆，燃出熊熊的火苗，半小时后，豆浆水被煮沸。“煮豆燃豆萁,豆在釜中泣。本是同根生,相煎何太急”的诗句到了天命之年我也没有什么感觉，唯有对豆花的渴望才是我深深的记忆。母亲在灶台上方用十字架系上纱布，将煮沸的豆浆水舀在纱布里面过滤。辛劳的母亲一遍遍地摇动着十字架，将豆浆里的豆渣完全与浆水分离。分离完后，继续微火煮豆浆水，母亲加入卤水，渐渐地锅里就出现了一块块的豆腐。
豆花煮好了，母亲给我舀了一碗，加了点酱油。说道：“国林娃，你快咭（吃），你要好好读书，长大要有出息啊。”端着母亲辛苦做的豆花，望着母亲希望的眼神，几口就吞咽下了豆花。冬日里，母亲的辛劳，母亲的付出，深深的印在我的脑海里，心里默默的许下誓言，我要让母亲过上幸福的生活，将来不再受累。
后来的岁月里，母亲每年要给我们做豆花。从开春的播种，到秋季的收获，无不凝结着母亲的汗水，年复一年。
如今，到处都有豆花店，满街都是豆花的叫卖声。没有了豆秆燃烧的柴火味道，没有了故乡味道的豆花。感觉总是没有母亲亲手做的豆花那么的香，那么的甜。

First they went out and found two straight sticks of the same length. They brought them back home and tied them with a piece of string into the shape of a cross. Then they took some string and used it to tie the four ends of the sticks together. Then, they spread some brightly coloured paper over the frame and glued it around the string.They stuck a tail made of paper to one of the corners, and tied a long string to the centre of the kite.
On the next windy day, they took the kite to a hill near their house and flew it.
