summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

去年暑假，我和爸爸妈妈一起去海南旅游。那里物产丰富、风景优美，但美中不足的是那儿非常热，热得简直让人喘不过气来。那里的阳光特别猛烈，肆无忌惮地照在人身上，没几天，就能把人晒得黑黝黝的。
我们先来到海南的'三亚湾，映入眼前的是无边无际的大海,蓝天和碧海连在一起，海滩上到处都是游客。男的，女的，老的，少的，都赤着脚在海滩上玩耍。大人们似乎都回到了童年，做沙雕、玩沙滩排球、洒日光浴……尽情地享受生活的乐趣。
忽然，我望到一辆浮在海面上的摩托车，我好奇地指着海上摩托车问爸爸:“那是什么?”爸爸说:“那叫摩托艇，，是一种海上娱乐工具。”我听了，立即对爸爸说:“爸爸，我想骑摩托艇。”爸爸却说:“不，这太危险了，小孩不能玩这项目。”我立刻装出一副可怜巴巴的样子。这招还真灵，爸爸见了，勉强答应:“那好吧，但只能玩几分钟。”我爽快地点点头。
救护员先把我抱上摩托艇，然后,自己也随即上来。待我俩一前一后坐稳了，救护员就把摩托艇滑起来。突然，他迅速地开启马达，熟练地操纵着摩托艇。摩托艇象脱了缰的野马在海上飞驶，我紧张极了，紧紧地抱住救护员。摩托艇开始摇晃起来，它带着我一会儿往左斜，一会儿往右倒，弄得我昏头转向。好可怕的摩托艇!看来爸爸的担心不是多余的。我一边闭上眼睛，一边对救护员大声喊道:“开得慢点，开得慢点!”于是，摩托艇渐渐地慢了下来，这时，我才敢把眼睛睁开。下了摩托艇，好久，我才恢复平静。
这真是一次难忘的旅行!如果有机会，我还想再去海南!

今天，我们乘着大巴车去萧山机场坐飞机到海南旅游。这是我第一次坐飞机，我真的好兴奋啊！飞机启动了，迅速地滑向跑道，犹如一只掠过海面的欧鸟，冲向蓝天。飞机穿过云层后就飞得非常平稳，就像一只伸着翅膀的老鹰，在蓝天上飞翔。白云像厚厚的棉被包裹在飞机四周，真的好美啊！
海南的景色很美，蓝蓝的天上飘着朵朵白云，海水有五种颜色，白色、天蓝、绿、蓝绿、深蓝，一层一层的随着海浪高低起伏。那边的空气也很好，被称为“天然氧吧”，导游阿姨说：“去海南五天，至少能延长五年的寿命。”那边的`果树很多很多，有椰子树、芒果树、榴莲树、菠萝蜜树……，奇怪的是，这些树的果实都长在树干上。
海南亚龙湾的海景最美了，澄碧的海水，金黄的沙滩。这时的沙滩相当宽，一片平展的细沙，没有一块碎石，踩上去又松又软，就像踩在地毯上。身着五颜六色的游泳衣裤的赶海者，三三两两地躺在海滩上，远远望去像一片片花瓣。我也迫不及待地换上泳裤，带上游泳圈兴奋地跑向海滩。
在海南已经玩了两天了，今天晚上导游说去泡泡温泉，也可以去享受一下“鱼疗”。其实“鱼疗”就是有一种鱼，小小的叫“亲亲鱼”，它最喜欢吃人身上的死皮。我们把脚伸下去，亲亲鱼就会成群结队地游过来吃我们脚上的死皮。它用嘴啄起来的感觉很痒很痒，我就忍不住朝天大笑，但是舒服极了。
海南的天，海南的海，海南的椰树，都叫我刻骨铭心！
