Please accept my resignation as associate chemist at the GERT Institute. I plan to leave my job here on September 30, 19–, taking a few days of annual leave just prior to that effective date. As you know, my primary interest has been in the oil and gas industry. 我哥哥的书法写得很好，得到了老师的赞扬，也引起了我的兴趣，我问哥哥：“我可以去学书法吗？”哥哥温柔地对我说：“可以呀！但是你上课要认真听。”我心想：写书法很简单。
早上，吃完早饭，去到了书法院。那里可热闹了，十几个学生都很认真，老师教我横竖……我问老师：“这些笔划都很简单，为什么还要练呢？”老师亲切地对我说：“要练好这些笔划，才能写出漂亮的'好字，不然，以后一定会献丑的。”我同意了。第一次，我写得像一条大懒虫，扭扭曲曲的。我才知道，书法其实很难，不过不用担心，我已经重新书写一遍。第二次，我慢慢地写……经过认真的练习，我写出来的字终于不再歪歪扭扭了，我兴奋地说：“啊！终于写漂亮了。”
经过这件事，我只有用一句来说：“不经风雨，怎能见彩虹。”朋友，请你一定要回信，说说你最近的情况。
