故事中的克拉拉和克拉克拉把一条长矛猎獾狗“嗅嗅”分成两半，前一半给克拉拉，后一半给克拉克拉，克拉拉喜欢金黄色，她把“嗅嗅”的前一半给涂成金黄色，克拉克拉喜欢黑色他把“嗅嗅”的后一半给涂成黑色；克拉拉和克拉克拉想开一个“跳蚤马戏团”，却把自己弄得一身跳蚤；克拉拉和克拉克拉来了一场吃苹果大赛，他们吃了几个苹果之后，却肚子痛了。
