一次，我突发奇想，何不让两只蜗牛进行一次赛跑比赛？说干就干，我将两只蜗牛分别放在卡片上，仔细地做上了记号。
比赛即将开始，我将两位选手“请”上场，并让它们做了“热身运动”。比赛开始，身为裁判的我急得像热锅上的蚂蚁，而这两位选手却悠悠哉哉地慢慢爬。大约过了四分钟，两只蜗牛才爬了五寸远，好慢呀！我只好耐心地等待，终于，一号选手通过终点，取得胜利。
我细细观察了一下，发现在它们跑过的地方，还有两条亮晶晶的线。真有趣，运动员还给自己画“跑道”呀！
为了犒劳它们，我在它们的“居室”里放进了一小段黄瓜和一小块西红柿。我饶有兴趣地看着它们，只见1号蜗牛只拣黄瓜吃，而2号蜗牛却专挑西红柿吃，我看着它们吃得津津有味的样子，开心的笑了。
吃过晚饭，当我再次看望它们时，发现“居室”里居然有红绿两种颜色的粪便，为了一探究竟，我又给1号蜗牛喂了一点橘子，给2号蜗牛喂了一点白兰瓜，而我就静观其变。
第二天一早，当我去看望它们时，发现“居室”中又多了黄、白两种颜色的粪便。由此，我明白了蜗牛粪便的颜色与食物中的色素有关。
这两只小蜗牛真有趣！它们带给了我欢乐，带给了我知识，更带给了我一颗好学的心。
