其实，俺只是个胸鸣虫鸟的遛远闲客，偶然路经此地，既无救人于水火的回天之力，也没有看同类受苦受难的“嗜痂之癖”。只是觉得浑身上下沾满了黏糊糊的臭汗，恨不得插翅高飞，飞离加尔各答的火狱，飞越广袤浩阔的塔尔沙漠，飞到清波送爽的恒河边，向瓦列纳西的大神们，问一声好。
为了不耽误取行李上路，匆匆告别“加尔各答的革命阵营”后，连名闻遐迩的维多利亚纪念馆都没来得及拜访，便抽身返回了火车站。
