nowadays, we can see some boys and girls who live in a small world of their own. they bury themselves among books and are proud of themselves. they think that it will make them lose their face if they do housework for they often think themselves very noble.

these young people are wrong. in my opinion every student should have a knowledge of housework. after all, they will have a family of their own, and they should do their part in keeping a good home. boys should also learn to do housework, for what will they do if they remain single? though not all boys remain single,yet they will be very helpful in the family if they know some housework. anyhow they will not lose anything, but, on the contrary, they will gain something useful.

for what i said above, we can find some eamples of our fellow-students studying abroad. all young men do housework as girls do. someone would argue that we can employ servants. this is true.however, what shall we do if the servant leaves us and all things are left to ourselves? we just cannot leave our clothes as they are and let worms and ants eat them up. and what can we do it we go and study in a foreign country where servants are out our means to employ? we must work for ourselves. why not start to learn to do housework now or else it will be too late? everyone should learn to do housework. what do you think about my idea, boys and girls?

当新学期来临时，许多学生对新生活表现得很兴奋。在大学，新生快乐地享受着自由。在接下来的四年里，他们希望过着高中描绘的\'美好生活。但事实是，大学生活中有很多东西要学。

First, the major knowledge occupies the most important role. As a student, learning knowledge is their job, while many students focus on playing cellphone in the class, or just sleep. They lose interest in studying when they come to the free environment. Mastering the professional skill helps them to be competitive. The sad thing is that most of them can't realize it.

首先，专业知识占据着最重要的角色。作为一名学生，学习知识是他们的工作，而很多学生在课堂上玩手机，或者睡觉。当他们来到自由的环境后对学习失去了兴趣。掌握专业技能帮助他们提高竞争力，可悲的是，大多数人没有意识到这一点。

Second, as there is much free time, they can make use of it and gain the valuable experience. Students can join some clubs to develop more interest, or find part-time jobs. It is better than to stay in the dorm and play computer games all the time.

第二，由于空闲时间多，他们可以充分利用好这些时间，并从中获得宝贵的经验。学生可以参加一些活动来发展更多的兴趣爱好，或找份兼职工作。比呆在宿舍玩电脑游戏好多了。

A lot of students feel lost in the campus, because they don't plan campus life well. The things you learn will make you different in the future.

很多学生因为没有计划好校园生活在所以迷失了。所学到的东西会让你在未来有所作为。

我学着妈妈的样子，先把土豆洗干净，接着用力把土豆的皮削掉，因为我从来没有削过皮，所以我削掉了土豆一层很厚的皮。然后，我学着妈妈的模样，切土豆，我决定先把土豆切成片，再切丝……嘿，土豆切好了，然后，我又切了一些葱当了作料。

开始炒了，我洗干净了炒锅，放入了一些油，我想起妈妈说过，等油热，再把土豆丝放下去，刚开始我就遇到了一个难题，油到什么时候才会烧开……油烧开了，我把准备好的土豆丝放入锅中，锅里发出啪啪的`声音，油花四溅，怪吓人的，“啪”的一声，“哎呀！”我的手烫到了，好痛呀！我忍痛炒着，过了一会儿就熟了，我尝尝咸淡正好，于是加上了味精，便上盘了。

菜刚烧好，我就听见爸妈在门外说：“谁家烧菜这么香呀？”“爸爸妈妈回来了，你们尝尝我的厨艺怎么样？”他们都非常惊奇，急忙拿起筷子各自尝了一口，都说：“好吃！好吃！”听到了爸妈的夸奖，我心里比吃了蜜还甜……

我的课余生活非常丰富，有看电视、玩电脑游戏、学围棋等。但我感觉最有意思的要数跟爸爸学习炒菜了。

一个星期六上午，我做完作业后，快到中午了，看到爸爸正在厨房里准备午饭。我突发奇想、自告奋勇地请爸爸教我学炒菜。爸爸笑着说：“那就先学西红柿炒鸡蛋这道菜吧。”

于是在爸爸的指导下，我先剥开两根葱，然后拿了两个西红柿放到水龙头下冲洗干净，接着把洗好的西红柿和葱分别切成小块和小段。我又从冰箱里拿出四只鸡蛋，逐个敲开蛋壳后依次倒入碗中，用两只筷子轻轻地搅拌起来，不一会儿，碗里的鸡蛋清与鸡蛋黄就均匀地融为一体，不分你我了。

在爸爸的鼓励下，我小心翼翼地打开电子煤气灶。等锅烧热后，再把油倒入锅中，不一会儿，油也热了，我把葱段放进锅中，随着噼哩啪啦一阵响，锅里的油星四溅，吓得我惊慌失措，赶快把鸡蛋倒入锅中，平息了这个小小的意外。鸡蛋入锅后，随着不停地翻炒，所有入锅的鸡蛋都逐渐变硬，最后成了金黄色的`蛋块。这是再陆续把西红柿块倒入锅中一起来回翻炒，在起锅前撒上一些盐，一盘色、香、味俱全的西红柿炒鸡蛋终于大功告成了。

我赶紧拿起筷子品尝起来，啊！味道真香啊！爸爸夸我真棒！通过这次炒菜，使我感到无论做什么事情都不容易，尤其是爸爸、妈妈每天忙完自己的工作后，还要精心为我烹制可口的菜肴，真辛苦。我以后一定要多学炒菜，这样不但能够提高自己的独立生活能力，而且还能够为爸爸、妈妈分担一些家务。
