暑假期间，天气实在太热了，火辣辣的太阳笼照着大地，好像要把所有的东西都熔化掉似的。所以，我们家冰箱里的饮料喝得飞快。这一天，冰箱里剩下唯一一瓶饮料也被我喝光了。可是，看着窗外白晃晃的阳光，心里实在想吃上一支冰凉的棒冰。
“卖棒冰了!五角一支，小豆棒冰!”突然，从窗外传来一阵吆喝声。“真是我的大救星!”这下我来了精神，拿起1元钱，朝楼下跑去。跑到前面一看，我一下愣住了，竟然是一个比我还小的男孩。我发现他嘴唇干裂，声音沙哑。我把钱给了他，他接过钱给我一支，我转身急忙跑回家，一边跑一边想，让他多5角钱可以自已吃一支。我正想着，忽然后来传来他的喊声，“小姐姐，等一等。”我只好站在那里对他说：“不用找了，这钱给你。”谁知他满脸通红，把钱塞进我手里气喘吁吁地说：“不是我的'钱，我不要，你别瞧不起人，我的压岁钱比你多多了。”
“那你为什么出来挣钱?”我奇怪地问。“那是因为我们学校举行了‘手拉手，献爱心’活动，我准备用这些钱捐给那些贫穷的孩子。”他倔强地说完，转身走了。当我目送他渐渐离去的身影后，才发现棒冰已经化掉了，虽然没能吃上棒冰，但心里却甜滋滋的。现在，每当我听到卖棒冰的吆喝声，我眼前就会浮现出当时的情景。

暑假两个月，我几乎每天都过得昏头昏脑，甚至有时候还在梦想与现实之间徘徊，这时，一阵清脆的电话铃声把我从梦想中揪了回来。我拿起听筒，好友萧萧告诉我了一个令我意想不到的消息：学校提前上学!而且就在后天开学!我好像被迎头浇了一盆凉水，我连自己什么时候挂了电话都不知道。本来是没啥好担心的，但天知道我这次暑假作业一字没碰啊!本来以为还有几天的，这次作业准备慢慢再写，可提前开了学可把我害苦了!我发狂似的不停搓着已经两个月都没碰过笔一次的右手手指，强迫自己拿笔。
几分钟后，暑假作业本上只留下了一行歪歪扭扭的小字，通过手指和笔的“亲密接触”手指终于可以写些字了，一小时后，书房内静得出奇，只有写字时笔尖和纸摩擦声，却不知挂钟上得时针已经连走3小格，到了晚上九点，此时我已经赶作业6小时，连手指都写得发麻，更别说脑子了!夜晚，窗外的家家户户都已熄灯入睡，唯独我还在挑灯夜战，不知不觉就伏在桌上睡着了。。。而且，我还做了个美梦!我梦见开学那天，我顺利地完成了老师布置的暑假作业，而且，作业本上那些又丑有小又难看的字不翼而飞了，取而代之地换成了一张张美丽。方正又整洁地大字，我就是做梦也不会想到(我的确就在做梦我的字会这么漂亮!
作业交上去之后老师还表扬了我的字写的好看，不仅仅是表扬，在开学典礼那天班主任老师还亲自给我颁奖，那时，我可真乐坏了!我高兴地跳啊跳啊。。。“啪嗒”一支笔掉地把我我惊醒了，我揉了揉眼睛，再看看自己的暑假作业“怎么?唉!连一半还没做好!”那毕竟只是场梦啊!(神啊!要是真的该多好!主啊!保佑我吧!我自己感觉头晕乎乎的，之后我也不知道自己后来究竟写了啥，正在我昏昏欲倒的时候，妈妈上来扶住了我：“你得快点了!你是学生!暑假作业到现在才知道补!成个什么样啊!快!把这杯茶喝了，快点写，不然明天想留校啊!”我接过茶，喝了下去，是绿茶，我感觉好多了，这是我补作业的第二天傍晚7点12分我的作业完成了，我休息了一会后开始整理书包，为了以防万一我又看了一下作业卡，我看到最后一行小字把我定格在那个时间“什么?要写36页～57页的课文和补充习题45页～66页的单元自测?天啊!救救我吧!”至于晚上我又不得不挑灯夜战，眼睛旁又多了一道黑圈圈，我彻底败给作业了!。。。
后续：至于开学那天，我“理所当然”的被同学嘲笑成“名贵又稀有的珍贵国宝大熊猫”然而我的厄运并没有结束，作业交上去之后，我又被老师叫去办公室挨骂，写检查。我现在终于懂了什么叫“飞来横祸”了。

summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
