Beloved father:
It’s a long time no contacting with you since last e-mail. And I miss you so much. Recently I luckily turn to the third officer working on board MV Blue Whale,which is a container ship. I intend to introduce you what Ido on this big vessel in this letter.
I am the third officer working in the deck department. As you know, the third officer is responsible to the master for the proper performance of his assigned bridge watchstanding and navigational duties.
On board, my first daily work is wathckeeping from 8 to 12 and from 20 to 24. my second daily work is in charge of the maintance of the fire-fighting equipment and life-saving equipment. The third , I am also responsible for fire and boat drills, I have to design a muster list and make crew to know the best escape route clearly. Additionally, there are also some simple things I have to do in daily work. For example, I have to assist the Chief Officer in supervising cargo handling operation 、to measure the draft at the discretion of the Chief Officer or the Master、to assist the Master on the bridge with anchoring and mooring and unmooring operation is underway and so on.
In the end, I strongly believed that you must be very familiar with my special work through what I said. And I hope you can stand my back and make me stronger. We will have a reunion soon.

哪知刚看到兴头上，一阵急促的敲门声把魏国从动画中拉了出来，魏国耷拉着脑袋去开门。只见蜀国迫不及待地把门推开，看见魏国手里拿着遥控器，电视频道还是动画片，沉默了一会，笑嘻嘻的对魏国说：”宝宝乖，回房子写作业、睡觉、画画吧!爸爸要用这个电视一会儿，好不好?“”不好!“魏国当即拒绝了，蜀国并不灰心，继续哄魏国：”那明天让你玩1个小时电脑好不好?“”不好!“魏国还是拒绝了，这下子蜀国火了，凶巴巴地对魏国说：”小孩子家!看什么电视，天天看动画片，幼稚不幼稚?!去!回屋做题去!“魏国只好慢悠悠的走开。
但魏国趁蜀国不注意，溜到了厨房，找到了吴国，于是魏国对吴国告状，揭发了蜀国种种罪行，吴国一听大怒，脱掉围裙，扔掉扫把，大步冲向蜀国，蜀国正在关心国家军情中，看见有人影……抬头一看!不妙!乃吴国是也!吴国老练地把手一伸，蜀国不得已将遥控器乖乖奉上，有瞥见了魏国在吴国背后偷笑，乃让位给吴国。吴国坐下，换到了靓妆频道，深深的陷了进去……
蜀国看吴国看得高兴，趁机抓过吴国与扫把，拖进了魏国领地……不久……魏国领地传出了***猪般地嚎叫……

星期五晚上，我回家迫不及待地打开电视，津津有味地看起了”洛洛奇险记，眼睛跟随着屏幕骨噜地直打转。
我着了魔似的，嘴里还念念有词：“雷霆半月斩，砍死暴龙神，耶!”可正当我高兴之时，半路***个老太太“做作业去!”哎，真倒霉!我可是个叱咤风云的男子汉，怎能认输!于是我来了个一阳指，再次看起来，显得洋洋得意，那知婆婆眼疾手快，运用了响誉天下的武林绝学——少林金刚大力指，电视啪地一下关闭了!我来了个以牙还牙!啪!电视又打开了，婆婆终于无可奈何，摇摇头离开了，这时，电视里的龙卷风和超音速出了合击绝招——天羽屠龙舞!我也学着超音速的样子，大大咧咧地向暴龙神砍去，向沙发来了个飞扑，乱打乱踢，搞得天昏地转，腿猛地一踢，脚上的拖鞋飞了出去，“糟糕”我尖叫一声，被当场击中，眼冒金花!婆婆乘虚而入，把少儿频道调到法制在线，这是婆婆最爱看的节目，这下我没戏了，我还是大力争取，连忙大步流星地跑过去，却不小心摔了个四脚朝天!婆婆有点生气了“你这小家伙，还不做作业，我可要跟***妈说了哟!”这下我可傻眼了，翘着嘴走开了，不一会儿，婆婆去洗手间了，我又乘虚而入专心地看了起来，这时，暴龙神用龙皇异次元把急先峰打飞了，心里不由泛起怜悯之情，仿佛自己也进入了战争，天有不测风云，婆婆又过来了，我飞速调回频道，悄然无声地躲到沙发后面，趁她不注意向卧室爬去，一不小心碰到茶几，哎!被发现了，不得了!婆婆大发雷霆：“滚去做作业!”我灰溜溜地跑开了。
大约过了半小时，法制在线完了，轮到我接班，我们又干上了唇枪舌战，婆婆说：“幼稚!”“才不幼稚呢!”我跟着接上说。就这样你一言我一语，唧唧喳喳地吵了十几分钟，少儿频道也完了，我变得垂头丧气!此刻，我和婆婆竟然异口同声地说：“看动物世界!”
于是我们一起开心地看起精彩绝伦的动物世界来!就这样，电视争夺战结束了。

Although we can only keep in touch with each other by the telephone or the Internet, I wish I could let you know how much I love you and how much I’ve appreciated the things you’ve done for me. It is never too much to say thank you to you, my dear parents.
First and the most important is that thank you for bringing me to this world. During the 20 years, you have done a lot for me, but I haven’t realized how much I love you until I left home to the university. I understand how much effort you have cost to bring me up. Now, I have grown up, I can look after you.
Second, I want to thank you that you give me a good environment to grow up. There is an old saying “Parents are the first teacher to their children”. In my life, you are the typical ones. Because of your good examples I formed the good habit of learning at an early age which benefits my life.
At last, I want to say “thank you” is that you always support my choice. You never forced me to do anything I was not interested in. You told me to pursuit my own dreams without hesitation and you would support me forever. You also told me to how to be a human. Now I become an optimistic and cheerful girl and I feel happy every day.
