then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.

不知过了多久，忽然一声喊叫才把我的心灵换回来：“看啊！长城。”我猛地一下从座位上跳起来，向窗外望去，果真是雄伟的长城，憧憬已久的长城！我突然感觉自己在燃烧，全身的血液都沸腾起来。
遥望远方，长城前不见头后不见尾，顺着山脊一直延伸到天边。长城两侧一片翠绿，显得庄重美丽。广场上的汽车向甲虫一样，聚集在一起，房屋、行人都小了许多。长城上，中外游客形成一股人流，不断掀起层层人狼，涌进远方……
长城显得那样沉静、那样庄严。他像一条蜿蜒的巨龙卧在连绵起伏的崇山峻岭上。当时我的心情也受长城的熏陶变得如此沉静。
我随着“人浪”登上长城。我的脚一部部落在那坚实的城转上，想着古代人劳动的情景；我的手一次次触摸到那凹凸不平的条石，内心是如此的感谢，感谢那些古代劳动者的劳动；我的眼睛一次次看到那苍凉而稳重的灰色，我的心里不由自主的一次又一次感到震撼。那饱经风霜的条石、城砖，布满了或深或浅的痕迹，似乎再向人诉说着长城辉煌的历史，让我去深深的体会、细细的感受……
短暂而别有深意的的一天，就这样渡过。我心满意足，因为我领略了古代劳动人的心血，我觉得今天是我竖起生后最丰富的一天。

第二天，我们乘船游览了漓江。漓江的水无比清澈，漓江的山千姿百态：有的像孙悟空过五指山，有的像九马画山，还有得像骆驼奔跑……漓江两岸的凤尾竹笑弯了腰，仿佛在招手欢迎我们的到来。
我们下船乘车，来到"世外桃源"，这里景色秀丽，空气清新，宛如来到仙境。我们乘着竹筏来到燕子湖的心愿桥下，大家纷纷许了一些愿望。我们又来到了原始部落的一个小村庄，酋长夫人"黑珍珠"向我们招手示意。我们和苗族姑娘跳踩踏舞，和壮族姑娘抛绣球。"世外桃源"让我赞叹不已！
晚上我们在漓江边观看了"印象刘三姐"的大型演出。演出以十二座山峰为背景，有六百多个演员表演……演出气势浩大，非凡，深深地震撼着每个观众的心灵。
后面几天的游程，我们游览了伏波山，七星公园，芦笛岩。我们参观了不同风格的岩洞，岩洞里有形状各异，姿态不同的钟乳石等。
我们乘飞机返回上海，坐在飞机上，俯视着桂林的城市风貌，让我依依不舍。桂林之行让我大开眼界。我爱桂林的山！我爱桂林的水！
