At college, I missed my parents a lot. As the term was drawing to an end, I eagerly looked forward to going home. And I planned to do a thousand and one things during the vacation. Above all, I wanted to help my mother with housework. I also wished to read many hooks which my teachers had recommended. However, at home, my mother would never let me do anything. She completely deprived me of sharing her work. As soon as I opened a book to read,she would sit down beside me and ask me about all kinds of things at the college. To please her,I told her one thing after another,and soon I forgot all about books. Even when I was actually reading,she would, now and then,insist that I should eat an egg or drink a cup of tea. When I left home at the end of the vacation, not a thing in my plan had been carried out. But I felt very happy. I believed much more deeply than before in the old saying: Home, sweet home. There’s no place like home!

summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.

actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.

so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

秋天是令人开心的季节，因为在这金秋十月，我们又迎来一学期中最开心的事——秋游!还记得老师在班级里宣布这一特大喜讯时的场面，那才叫热闹啊。

那天，老师刚刚说完要秋游了，教室里便炸开了锅。老师接下去讲的注意点谁还在听呀，都兴高采烈地讨论起来了。看，那边的一群“小吃货”，正在讨论着要带什么诱人的美食呢;听，这里的爱美女孩正在商量着要穿什么样的衣服呢;瞧，中间的这些小游戏迷们正在思考着要带什么样的电子产品这声音一阵一阵的，盖过了老师的声音，盖过了上课的铃声。他们谈天论地，聊得海阔天空，要不是老师的强烈要求，大家才不愿意停呢。好不容易嘴静下来了，可是每个人的心又在“扑通、扑通”地跳个不停，仿佛是在代替嘴巴说话。此时，所有的'心都在重复着说一句话：“耶!要去秋游了!”

出去游玩本来就是一件开心的事，更何况这次秋游不是和爸爸妈妈一起，而是和老师们、同学们一起去，怎能不令人开心呢?

游是令人兴奋的，秋游是令人激动的，秋游甚至还带着一种美妙的感觉。总之，现在的我们，心情是无法用语言来表达的，相信每一位即将随着老师去秋游的同学都会有同一种感觉，就是“耶!要去秋游了!”!
