通读这本书，我深刻到，责任才是西点军校所有优秀品格中的灵魂，正是因为西点军校的学员们在心里已经深深地根植进了“责任、荣誉、国家”这样崇高的理念，他们才能在强烈的责任感的驱使下，做到以荣誉为准则，以永不放弃的坚强意志和战胜一切逆境的勇气，满怀热忱地去服从于铁一般的纪律；也正是因为责任，他们才具有必将实现目标的坚定信念和善于合作的团队精神；他们懂得尊重上司和合作伙伴，他们以全力以赴的忠诚和积极主动的自发精神去严格履行自己的职责，他们正直地追求着真理，终生都在竞争和拼搏，也同样是因为责任使然。
西点人之所以具有这些优秀的品格，是因为他们肩负着维护国家利益的崇高责任。不仅如此，现实生活中的每一个人，无论是身在市井的平民百姓还是位极人臣的高官显要，都在承担着一份责任，只不过是承担的责任有大小轻重之分而已，并无有无之别。父母养儿育女，儿女孝敬父母，老师教书育人，学生尊师好学，医生救死扶伤，军人保家卫国，不同的领域不同的岗位上，每一个人都在承担着自己的责任，有的是为自己、为家庭，有的是为集体、为国家。
古人说：天地生人，有一人当有一人之业；人生在世，生一日当尽一日之勤。作为这个社会中的一份子，任何人都不可能脱离责任而独自生存，无论是对个人、企业还是国家，都应该负起应有的责任。
进入一个企业，在这个企业中担任了某个岗位的工作，也就同时承担了这个岗位应有的责任，也许这份责任对这个企业来说极其重要，也许微不足道，但它们都是实现企业共同目标的组成部分，就像一部机器的零部件，共同促成了机器的完美运转，缺一不可。
在这个世界上，责任和利益是相辅相成的，没有毫无责任的利益，也没有毫无利益的责任，如果你想在某个岗位上获取更多的利益，那么你就必须要承担更多的责任，对于不愿意承担责任而想获取利益的人，那只能是停止不前，或是一事无成，甚至被时代所淘汰、抛弃。
无论身在何处，都要忠实地履行了自己的职责，不断地去肩负更大的责任，必将走向人生的成功。
忠实地履行自己的职责，就要正确对待自己承担的责任。责任就是每个人份内应该尽力去做好的事，是任何人都无法逃避的，也是任何人都逃避不了的。也许有的人会认为，承担责任太沉重了，会让人活得很累，一点也不轻松，不潇洒。如果这样消极地对待责任，只图坐享其成，而不愿付出，那就只能虚度光阴最终一事无成，完全失去了人生的意义。只有勇敢地担负起自己的责任，人生才会充实，生活才有意义。
忠实地履行自己的.职责，就要热爱自己的本职工作。虽然在人的一生中，有无数次选择职业的机会，但是在某一个阶段，也许那份工作并不称心如意，既然选择了这份工作，就应该全力以赴，全身心地去热爱它，做好它。如果认为自己做的工作无足轻重，就放弃努力，则是完全错误的认识，任何一项伟大的事业，都是从平凡的小事开始做起的，所以说，一旦选择了这份职业，就应该坚持下去，努力去做好，这样自身的能力和职业道德都会得到很快的提高，从而去适应新的工作，承担更大的责任。
忠实地履行自己的职责，就要从一点一滴的小事做起。责任无论大小，其中都必然包含着无数点点滴滴的小事，工作中，如果只抓了主要的环节，而忽视了那些小事，或者说不屑于去处理工作中的细节，必定会导致整项工作的失败，可以说，工作中无小事，每一项工作都是由一件件看似简单不足挂齿而实际上可能会影响全局的小事构成的。同样的道理，一项伟大事业的成功，也是由无数的小事积累而成的，抓住了工作中的小事，就是抓住了机遇，成功正是蕴藏在这些点滴小事中的。

The movie《The Pursuit of Happiness》is a story about that a father never give up and succeed in the end.
In the movie the father told his son that if you have a dream you should protect it and never give it up. It impressed me a lot. No matter how hard the life was, the father never leave his son, his family or his brief behind. Even they had to spend the night by living in the park or a public toilet.
The movie taught me a lot about the sprit of never give up and insist. After watching it，I learned that catch every chance what I meet and be active to the life. And I also learn that one has to strongly believe in himself, no matter how difficult the situation is, but of course, hard-working is indispensable. “Think, tough life experiences, always make a great person!”
