今年的三月一日，是我终生难忘的'日子，我的外公去世了。他带着对儿孙深深地爱去了。几天来，外公和蔼可亲的笑容仍在我脑海里不断地闪现，外公亲切的话语仿佛还在我耳边回响……

我的外公非常勤劳。他虽然早已退休，但是外公退而不休，他有一身的好本领，经常被有些单位请去做技术指导。家里人都劝他别干了，这么大年纪了要注意身体。可他总是不听，还说：“人老了也同样能为社会做贡献，没听过‘最美不过夕阳红’吗?”说真的，我还真佩服他高超的技术，我们玩坏的玩具都准备丢了，可一到外公手里就变废为宝了。
我眼中的外公是世界上最好的外公。外公的孙子比较多，我以前总觉得外公喜欢自己的亲孙子胜过我这个外孙女，经常是“一碗水端不平”。可是外公去世后我无意中在他抽屉的一本书里，发现了我小时候的一张照片，原来外公一直都把我这张照片收藏在他的抽屉里。我哽咽了!眼泪禁不住夺眶而出。我错了，外公!我多想对您说一声“对不起”，我以前真不应该那样看待您，您疼孙子疼在嘴上，而疼我这个外孙却是疼在心里啊!外公，您为什么不等我认错就离我而去了呢，您为什么不给我一个改错的机会啊!
