Country Garden and Me
On the way from Panyu City to Shunde City and approaching the conjunction point of both cities, a big advertisement board of the infamous Country Garden will catch your eyes. And on the board, a lovely girl gently holds a little white pigeon.
She looks at everybody with a sweet smile. Who is this girl? Let me tell you later. Country Garden is located at the Beijao town, Shunde City of Guangdong Province. Ten years ago when my Dad and Mom took me as a baby to Guangzhou, it was a wasteland here. But what does this piece of wasteland look like nowadays? Country Garden has been developed and enlarged rapidly on the ground of this land, and a great number of high-quality houses and apartments have been built up within the garden. Over the past decade, other nine country gardens with various unique designs have been erasing around the great city of Guangzhou. The construction and management of several gardens have engaged the devoted contributions from my Dad and Mom.
Country Garden has grown up together with me, and I am one of the witnesses of its growth and development.

那是一个天气晴朗的星期天。我和爸爸妈妈本来商量好 去划船，要知道，能和妈妈去玩的机会可不多呀!因为，她 总是要备课.但妈妈突然提出要带她的那班孩子去看什么展 览.我老大不髙兴，气鼓鼓地说：“妈妈，你心里只有学 生，根本就不管我!“妈妈笑了笑说：“那能呢?我的宝贝 女儿。”“你一人带着40多个活宝，非出事不可!”我赌气 地说，可万万没想到，那天竟被我言中了。晚上8点多了， 妈妈还没回来。我和爸爸焦燥不安。爸爸坐不住了，一声不吭地出去找妈妈，我的心也提到了嗓子眼，心里不住地念 叨：“妈妈不会出事的!不会的!”又过了大约一个小时，爸爸终于扶着妈妈进了家门。只见她满身尘土。一副疲惫不堪的模样，一进门就歪倒在床上。还好，不像有伤!我不禁 又喊了起来：“妈，瞧你这样子，真……”“别说了!你太 不懂事了，快给***倒水! ”爸爸有些恼火。我赶忙倒了杯水递给妈妈。
这时，爸爸讲述了事情的经过，原来，妈妈带学生去活动之后，又回到学校看了看。忽然，她听到一阵阵惊惶的喊 声：“快来人呀!救命呀! ”妈妈冲过去一看，原来是一个 外班的学生在校玩耍，不慎从双杠上摔下来昏了过去，旁边 的小孩急得不知所措。妈妈想也没想，抱起小孩就向医院冲 去……
爸爸一边讲，一边看着我，目光里充满了责备。我听着 听着，眼前闪现了一个又一个的镜头：妈妈在马路上抱着孩 子气喘吁吁地跑着，不小心摔倒了，可还搂着孩子;她在马 路中央栏截汽车，却几遭拒绝;她把孩子抱上救护车一动不 动地守在他身旁;她焦急地向大夫说明情况……现在我对妈 妈的一切怨气都消失了。妈妈，你真善良!您真髙尚。相比 之下，我显得多么自私，多么狭隘呀。
从此，我渐渐懂得了妈妈从事的是多么神圣的事业。妈 妈把母爱无私地奉献给每一个学生，我应该支持她呀!每天 她要带回许多作业批改，为了减轻她的负担，我就去车站接 她，
妈妈，我理解您了!理解您所从事的事业了。我们虽然 是两代人，有着或多或少的隔膜，但我相信，我们是可以互相理解的。我希望您也能理解我!当我准备到广阔天地屮去 寻找我的事业的时候，我想，您一定会支持的! 一定会的!

刚开学，同学们都互相问好，互相拥抱。我跟我的老同桌也不例外，收拾完桌子，见离上课时间还早，我们就开始大谈特谈了。
我们从寒假谈到春节，又从春节谈到电视节目，又从电视节目谈到明星。我对明星比较熟悉，对主持人更是了解。所以我滔滔不绝，没黑没白地说，唾沫星子四溅。小雪听着，看着我，没有插嘴的余地。
等到我说得气喘吁吁，仰天讨水喝的时候，她说：“明明，你想过长大了要当演员吗？”以前很多人都这么问过我，说我不当演员可惜了。可我对演员一点也不感兴趣。我很委婉地对她说：“如果我有这个天赋，如果我有这个兴趣，我想我是一定会选择这个行业的。”她很可惜的样子说：“你可以培养兴趣嘛。”“可我也得有这个条件嘛。”“你怎么没有这个条件，你外表很美，内涵又高，音乐又好，简直就是个演员胚子。”我听后赶紧摸摸小雪的额头，说：“小雪，你发烧吧？你很希望我当演员吗？”“也不是，只是因为我的理想是当一名出色的导演，像张艺谋那样的，我想如果我们俩合作的话，会很有前途的。”我呵呵直笑，不过，何尝不是一种尝试呢？
其实我想将来我十之八九是个当主持人的，或者是个搞艺术的。因为那是我从小的梦想。小时候，妈妈见我唱歌好，想让我当歌唱家我学了古筝，又要让我在那方面发展。其实我只是想当成是一种特长而已。现在的主持人，哪一个不会那么几手？
我终究会是个在艺术方面打转的家伙。小雪说如果你考不上北大那就考北广好了，反正那里就是主持人的`专业学校嘛。我想也是呵，反正主持人不需要博士学历的，考艺术班既轻松又离主持人近。于是我把我上高中考艺术班的想法告诉了老爸。
“不行！”老爸发着脾气对我说了这两个字。他说你不想学习了？你学习那么好想放弃了？想在没有学问是不行的，爸爸希望你能读研究生、读博士甚至博士后。艺术班里的学生大多学习都不好，你在那样的氛围里会堕落的。你辛苦学习难道要白费吗？你辛苦赚来的市三好、市优干、县优秀团员要让爸爸给你封起来吗？放着大好的前途你不要，学什么艺术，不行！
瞧，让人没有任何还嘴的余地。我还跟爸爸堵了气，平常他是不会对我发脾气的。老爸的想法让我很搞不懂，艺术跟学习有冲突吗？
我最终还是屈服了。我说要乖乖的考上重点高中，上重点班，上重点大学，然后再来考虑我的兴趣问题。想到我要成为考题的奴隶，觉得自己真的很悲哀。
我的命运到底还是给了爸爸，我没办法说服自己去与爸爸对着干，也许别人会说我是懦弱的，可是我却没有勇气在爸爸面前坚强。大概长大后我才会懂得更多吧。到时候不听爸爸的话，我会支持自己的。不过我不知道这样做到底对不对。
