长城万里一雄关，天下奇门锁海山。早就盼望着能去天下第一关山海关一览雄姿，暑假里的一天，终于实现了我的夙愿。
还没有抵达山海关，那雄伟的轮廓已经投入眼帘，只见绵延的城楼后面环绕着绵延的苍山，前面面对的是汹涌的碧海，万里长城仿佛是它有力的臂膀，守卫着这身后的万千顷土地，我不禁感叹，真不愧为“天下第一关”。
车子到了城下，再看，城楼更为高大，黑洞洞的城门口和两旁雄壮的两尊石狮让人不禁赞叹它们的雄伟与凛然不可侵犯的威严。向上仰视，映入眼帘的便是那檐下的巨幅横匾，上面是古代的书法家肖显挥毫泼墨书写的\'五个大字“天下第一关”，虽经过了千百年历史的磨洗，但还是那样地熠熠生光，书韵不减。
我们顺着城楼两侧的石阶上了城，在这几层楼高的城墙上，可以五马并驰，两侧曲曲弯弯，一直延伸到大山的背后。
大殿门前的那个箭垛是整个城堡的中心点主城楼，翁城以及脚下的城门等，都是按照它的基准来的。站在这儿向前看去，在视野的尽头，有隐约可见的蔚蓝色的海水和银色的波光，眼前的平川，虽已建起工厂和商店，但不难想象，在久远的古代是血染黄尘的沙场，有多少中华儿女为御外侮，抗敌寇，保卫中华民族而浴血奋战，最后壮烈牺牲。然而他们的精神却是永垂青史的！
收回视线，我们再回殿内去看看，推开沉重的大门，跨过一尺来高的门槛，迎门的桌案上摆着一口钢刀，在这阴森森的环境下，显得冷峻肃穆，寒气逼人。看了说明才知道，这钢刀是在明朝时铸造的，有166斤重。从那砍得巨齿般的刀口，从那刀身上的斑斑锈迹、完全可以想象出它当年立下的卓著战功。大殿左边的墙上摆着七支羽箭，右边墙下，摆着一副盔甲，锈迹斑斑，残缺不全，一看就知道是一位身经百战将军的遗物。在陈设大刀后面的墙上，挂着一个与城门上相同的大匾，原来这是书法家的手笔，城门上的只不过是个复制品而已。
不知不觉已经夕阳西下，太阳斜挂在天边挂城楼，山川和万里海疆染得火红，而在这一片的浑红中，天下第一关——山海关显得更加气势磅礴，更加雄伟壮丽。

一年一度的端午节已经到来了，我们一家人开开心心的过了一个端午节。
我非常期盼端午节的到来，因为我想学着包粽子。我拿来了糯米，砌成了三角形。又拿来刚刚煮好的大红枣插到了糯米上。然后再用竹叶把馅儿包好，还用线来回的缠绕，觉得做得很结实。
接下来我把包好的粽子放到锅里煮了十分钟，拿出来一尝，糯米硬硬的，我赶紧吐了出来。妈妈说糯米不泡是煮不熟的。哎呀，我怎么忘了这一环节了呢。看来粽子我自己是包不成了，只有等着吃现成的了。
一会儿，妈妈叫着我一起去赶集，我第一次赶集觉得很新鲜。来到集上卖菜、卖水果的应有尽有。我看到了一个大西瓜，看样子已经熟透了，妈妈买下了这个大西瓜，我开开心心的把它抱回了家。妈妈还买了许多东西，我最喜欢的还是那些大粽子。
回到家，我拿起粽子就吃，吃的满嘴都是米香，特别是那大红枣，吃到嘴里又香又甜。
我们过了一个欢快的端午节。

我喜欢的节日有很多，但我最喜欢的是端午节。这个节日不但离我的生日近，也是爱国诗人屈原的祭日。端午节时，我们可以看龙舟、吃粽子。
妈妈带着我去看龙舟，当时的情形可热闹了！四面响起了咚咚的鼓声，比赛开始了，河面上有红的\'、黄的、蓝的、绿的龙船，四条龙船伴着鼓声越划越快。再看观看的人们，人们有的急得像油锅上的蚂蚁，有的正在疯了似的喊加油，还有的激动地跳起了舞。这时，所有人几乎什么烦恼都忘掉了，伴着鼓声越飘越远，消失得无影无踪。
回到家，我们开始了包粽子行动。我先用两张叶片叠在一起，加入糯米、花生……包成三角体，用细绳缠紧。口味有很多种，有蛋黄的、肉松的、火腿的……真想每个味都尝尝。粽子不但味道多而且形状也多，有椭圆形、斧头形……真让人眼花缭乱。
端午节能吃上美味的粽子，又能看精彩的龙舟比赛，真是乐趣无穷！
