让大家来看看德国哲学家康德如何守时的：1779年，德国哲学家康德计划到一个名叫珀芬的小镇，去拜访朋友彼特斯。他曾写信给彼特斯，说3月2日上午11点钟前到他家。康德是3月1日到达珀芬的，第二天早上便租了马车前往彼特斯家。朋友住在离小镇12英里远的一个农场里，小镇和农场间有一条河。当马车来到河边时，车夫说：“先生，不能再往前走了，桥坏了。”康德看了看桥，发现中间已断裂。河虽不宽，但很深。他焦虑的问：“附近还有别的桥吗？”“有，在上游6英里远的地方。”车夫回答说。康德看了一眼表，已经10点钟了，问：“如果走那座桥，我们什么时候可以到达农场？”“我想要12点半。”“可如果我们经过面前这座桥，最快能什么时间到？”“不到40分钟。”“好！”康德跑到河边的一座农舍里，向主人打听道：“请问您的那间小屋要多少钱才肯出售？”“给200法郎吧。”康德付了钱，然后对农夫说：“如果您马上从小屋上拆下几根长木板，20分钟内把桥修好，我将把小屋赠送给您。”于是，农夫立即把两个儿子叫来，很快完成了任务。马车快速地过了桥，10点50赶到了农场。在门口迎候的彼特斯高兴地说：“亲爱的朋友，您真准时。”守时，诚信，这就是著名的哲学家康德。因此，我们所有人都必须知道：守时是一种美德。
懂得珍惜时间的人，不仅仅要注意不浪费自己的时间，也要时时注意不能够白白浪费别人的时间，“时间就是生命，无端地空耗别人的时间，其实无异于谋财害命。”
