Beloved father:
It’s a long time no contacting with you since last e-mail. And I miss you so much. Recently I luckily turn to the third officer working on board MV Blue Whale,which is a container ship. I intend to introduce you what Ido on this big vessel in this letter.
I am the third officer working in the deck department. As you know, the third officer is responsible to the master for the proper performance of his assigned bridge watchstanding and navigational duties.
On board, my first daily work is wathckeeping from 8 to 12 and from 20 to 24. my second daily work is in charge of the maintance of the fire-fighting equipment and life-saving equipment. The third , I am also responsible for fire and boat drills, I have to design a muster list and make crew to know the best escape route clearly. Additionally, there are also some simple things I have to do in daily work. For example, I have to assist the Chief Officer in supervising cargo handling operation 、to measure the draft at the discretion of the Chief Officer or the Master、to assist the Master on the bridge with anchoring and mooring and unmooring operation is underway and so on.
In the end, I strongly believed that you must be very familiar with my special work through what I said. And I hope you can stand my back and make me stronger. We will have a reunion soon.

人人都有过第一次的经历，而最令我难忘的就应该是那次了。
去年放暑假的时候，我住在奶奶家，马上就要中午12点了，肚子正饿的“咕咕”叫的时候却发现所有的人竟然都睡着了。（我家人有睡午觉的习惯，而我又不忍心把他们都弄醒）于是在这个时候我突然想出了一个好主意：自己做饭。
可是，又有一道难题放在我的面前了：做点什么好呢？我左思右想，恩，就做个最简单的蛋吵饭吧！
首先，把所有的原料都准备好，就开工了！把火腿肠切成小丁，放在小盘子里；再把青豆泡在小碗里：炒饭（幸好我老妈教过我几招，要不我今天就非吃“凉大米饭拌火腿肠”了）好了，言归正传。这时候我已经把油放进锅里烧热了，发出“噼噼啪啪”的响声。心想：该把鸡蛋和肠放进去了吧！于是我就把鸡蛋捣碎，连同火腿肠一股脑的放进了锅里。这一放可不得了，从锅中溅出的油星全部都落在了我的胳膊上，一股钻心的疼痛马上流遍了全身，我真相大叫一声，可是忍住了。只用水冲了冲就继续干了。再往锅里一看，哇噻！锅底都有点糊了，于是我赶紧用铲子把有点糊的地方铲了出去。继而把米饭也放了进去。又用铲子铲了一会，心想这下可好了吧！于是就尝了一口。乖乖，不是吧，我还没加盐呢！于是又急忙把盐加了进去。
呼……终于大功告成了！
虽然很苦很累还受了伤，不过我终于吃到了自己做的第一顿饭，虽然不是很好吃，不过，我相信有了这次的经历，下次一定会做得更好！

首先，我想今天中午做什么呢？我绞尽脑汁地想，终于想起来了，我要做蛋炒饭和面条，还要蒸鸡蛋。说干就干，我从冰箱里拿出了青椒、黄瓜、大葱、西红柿和鸡蛋，我把这些东西都拿到了厨房。我把鸡蛋放到蒸锅里先让它煮着，再把菜切成一块一块的，然后把剩下的鸡蛋打到碗里搅匀，然后我把锅放到另一个灶上，先把鸡蛋煎好，再把切好的`菜都放进去，又加了一点盐就翻炒起来。鸡蛋蒸熟后我就开始煮面条，不一会儿，面条也完成了，我就拿来四个碗来盛，装完后，我把面条和菜还有鸡蛋就端到餐桌上。这时刚好爷爷奶奶就回来了，一进门就惊讶地问：“怎么有香喷喷的味？”我说：“我已经把饭做好了，爷爷奶奶赶紧洗手吃饭吧”，看到爷爷奶奶吃得那么香，我心里别提多高兴了。
通过这次做饭我懂得了一个道理：只要用心，什么事都能做好。这次，我真高兴！

我有很多事情是第一次做，但是最有趣的是我第一次做饭。
有一次，爸爸妈妈都不在家，快中午了还没回来。我就想给爸爸妈妈一个惊喜，平时我都是吃现成的，今天我要给爸爸妈妈做回饭。不用做稀饭，冰箱有馒头，微波炉热一下就行。可炒什么菜呢？说真的，我不会炒别的菜，就会炒鸡蛋。那就炒鸡蛋吧！
说做就做。我先把鸡蛋打在碗里，放上一些盐，然后用筷子拌起来，等碗里的鸡蛋均匀以后，再把油锅放在煤气上，点火，放油，油热以后把碗里的鸡蛋倒进锅里，用炒菜的铲子翻动几下，2分钟以后，香喷喷、黄澄澄的一盘炒鸡蛋就做好了。
我刚把盘子端到桌子上，门就开了，是爸爸妈妈回来了。“什么好吃的，这么香？”他们异口同声地说。“当然是我爱吃的炒鸡蛋啦。这次可是我亲自下厨做的。尝尝我的手艺如何？”。妈妈笑着对我说：“孩子，你真棒！我像这么大的时候炒鸡蛋都炒糊了。”说着拿起筷子尝了一口，“好吃，好吃。”爸爸也忙过来尝了一口，“香，实在是香。”看着他们那狼吞虎咽的样子，我心里美极了。
从那以后，只要我有时间就主动下厨房，一来可以炼做饭的手艺，二来可以给爸爸妈妈多些惊喜。现在我做饭的水平真的不错了。
