昨天下午的第三节课，张老师布置了两个回作就马上走了。当时我正在喝水，看了布置的作业我差点把嘴里含的水喷出来，作业少得可怜。一个是抄11——20的成语，一个是更强是说什么按43页的要求完成习作二的任务。我努力克制自己不要把水喷出来，还好我的“黄河”没有破堤而出。我咽下水打开语文书，我一下子笑不出来了。任务是“对爸爸(妈妈说我爱你”。看着这个任务，我脑海里涌出了许多问题，怎么办?什么时候问?怎么问?去问谁?我一下子陷入了沉思。
放学回到爷爷家，我匆匆忙忙做完作业吃了饭洗了澡，回到自己家。家中爸爸在客厅打电脑，妈妈在卫生间洗花瓶。机不可失!我马上走进卫生间，对妈妈认真地说：“妈妈，我爱你!”正在洗花瓶的妈妈先是一愣，又马上把神回了过来，放下手上的花瓶转过身来对我说：“儿子，不要这样说。妈妈对你感到很愧疚——你婴儿时我忙于工作，没时间陪你，常把你一个放在爷爷奶奶家，当你吵着要回自己家还嫌你碍事。等你长大了一点，我又去上海读书，没时间关心你的学习。现在自己身体不好，还经常对你发脾气。在你面前，我不是一个称职的妈妈!”我马上说：“好了，妈妈这些事不要提了，过去的了就让它过去吧。我爱你，妈妈。”
我马上书房做作业了。做作业时，我的心里暖烘烘的，作业也快了许多。当我做好作业的最后一个字时，我看见妈妈的屋子还闪着灯光，我走了过去微笑着对妈妈说：“晚安!”

“唉!唉!”今天晚上，我家一直传出这样的叹息声。这是谁发出的?制造者就是我。问我为什么叹息?还不是张老师布置了一个实践作业，让我们向父母说我爱你，这谈何容易?
这不，现在正烦着呢!该怎么办?我思来想去，觉得还是去当面表达比较好。于是，我怀着惴惴不安的心情，走到正在准备晚饭的妈妈面前。看到我走过来，妈妈忙不迭地问：“有什么事?肚子饿了吗?稍微等等哦，晚饭马上就来!”见妈妈这样，我有点不好意思，忸怩地说：“妈妈，我……我……”“嗯?怎么啦?”“我……我想吃饼干!”“哦，那你去拿啊，这孩子!”我手忙脚乱，把刚到嘴边的话一下子咽了下去。
我拿好饼干，急冲冲跑进了房间。等做完作业，出来吃好晚饭，正琢磨着跟妈妈说我爱你，不经意间一抬头，发现妈妈踮着脚正吃力地洗着碗。我看着看着，泪水便盈满了眼眶，思绪回到了那个中午……那天中午，妈妈去上班，而我则躺在床上，做着香甜的梦。却不知，妈妈发生了意外。晚上放学后，我听见妈妈躺在床上痛苦地***着，我一问，才知道，原来妈妈上班时下楼梯，脚一不小心别崴了，而她，为了不打扰我休息，硬是忍着剧痛，一踮一踮地去上班……想到这儿，我的泪水一下子决堤了，顷刻间喷涌而出。我哭着奔向妈妈，哽咽着。
妈妈十分奇怪，便问我是怎么了，而我，大声地说了一声：“妈妈，我爱你!”这话是发自内心的，是我最诚挚的感情。说完后，我的脸一直红到脖子根啦，很不好意思。正欲逃跑，妈妈喊了一声：“等等!”我迟疑地转过身，妈妈一把搂住我，轻轻地说：“我也很爱你哦!”
爱并不肉麻，它是人与人间的诚挚纽带，将每一个人，都栓的紧紧的。

Dear Mom and Dad,
Although we can only keep in touch with each other by the telephone or the Internet, I wish I could let you know how much I love you and how much I’ve appreciated the things you’ve done for me. It is never too much to say thank you to you, my dear parents.
First and the most important is that thank you for bringing me to this world. During the 20 years, you have done a lot for me, but I haven’t realized how much I love you until I left home to the university. I understand how much effort you have cost to bring me up. Now, I have grown up, I can look after you.
