帐子被拉开了，七个熟睡的孩子，那七个小脸蛋一个一个的挨在了一起，在微暗的灯光下显得格外可爱。桑娜看着孩子们：“看他们睡得多香啊。”桑拿自己也露出了温暖的笑容。但这只是表面，其实桑娜心里很慌，她对他的丈夫说：“西蒙的孩子醒来后，该给他们吃什么东西，你冒着身命危险，还有我日夜不停的工作，我们一家才能勉强填饱肚子??醒来他们要找妈妈怎么办??要知道??”桑娜再也说不下去了。渔夫走到桑娜后面，把手放到了桑娜的肩膀上，说：“我们总能熬过去的，明天，一早我就出去捕鱼，每餐我们少吃几口饭，总能给西蒙的孩子食物吃。”
第二天，渔夫迎着雾出海了，桑拿站在海边，在胸前画了一个“十”字，说：“上帝啊，为了以后的生活，保佑他一帆风顺吧！”之后，桑拿听见屋子了传来了一阵嬉笑和打闹的声音，桑娜走进屋子，把帐子拉开，看见自己的孩子在和西蒙的孩子玩耍，他们笑着，桑娜看着，也笑了。桑拿没有把西蒙死亡的事情告诉西蒙的孩子，而是，教西蒙的孩子叫她管叫“妈妈”，叫桑娜的丈夫叫“爸爸”。
中午十一点了，桑娜走向门外，看看丈夫是不是回来了，远处有一艘小帆船过来了。“是丈夫，是丈夫回来了！！”桑娜在心里喊着。七个孩子冲出门外，迎接渔夫。西蒙的孩子喊了渔夫一声“爸爸”，渔夫吓了一跳，然后说：“好，爸爸捕到了一条大鱼。走，吃鱼去。”渔夫连忙把藏在身后的鱼提了出来，他们这一家在餐桌上，欢声笑语！！！
